Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

The only part of the role Guinness really appreciated were the paycheques. That's understandable but he was also a bit of an ass to fans. So we need someone who will treat the material with respect.

Plus if we get Lee he'd get an excuse to hang out with his buddy Peter Cushing.

Huh, well then

A daily reminder how based even an unhinged George could be:

(Note: I'd Highly recommend sending Mike on his own to get this released, as it is a movie from Japan, and he isn't the boogyman of Hollywood Studios)

In other news, can we get the option to distribute from from Hong Kong again? This time, send Bruce to fight the Triads in a one man army… Heck maybe make a film outta that as well.

As much as I don't want to take the character from Sam Witwer (man has done so much for Star Wars since Force Unleashed), I think an interesting thing to add to the Original Trilogy is Galen Marek (either as Starkiller or the First Son, doesn't matter the capacity) and Ahsoka Tano.

I think that, even if they end up being a relatively minor part in OT (NH mentions them, ESB introduces them proper, RotJ resolves their arc), it would add a piece to the worldbuilding that, at lead to me, is lacking in OT the form of genuine, tangible evidence of how deeply Anakin fell to the Dark Side as Vader. [And before anyone says anything, I'm speaking purely from the cinematic experience watching just the OT, not including any ancillary material that provides context that most casual audience members during this time period would have never seen.]

These 3 are the best imo. All brilliant and can fill the role (or as they did brilliantly OTL)

If the clone wars being made into the prequels from a throwaway line. Then surely Leia can mention the help the few Jedi have been to the creation of the rebellion with a single sentence. Galen Maren, Ahsoka Tano, Cal Kestis(should he be added too?).

Leia: "The Rebellion used to have many Jedi... the last of them."

Luke: "There are Jedi in the rebellion?"

Leia: "There were."

Really though It might not happen unless you all write some damn fine omakes.

Actually, I'm going to give a challenge...

George working on Star Wars.

I can see it now.

Bruce comes into George's room to remind him that humans need 8 hours of sleep. before stopping and staring.

Every inch of wall is covered in scripts, worldbuilding, and notes. George is in the middle of the mess writing about the complex geopolitical landscape of a planet that a character off-handedly mentions.

SO like me on a day off.

You should see the hundreds of pages for an outline I made.

Wait. Isn't Bruce friends with Mako? He'd be an...interesting choice for Obi-Wan.

"FOOOOOOOOLISH SITH, IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I SHALL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!"

[X]Pat Morita
[X]Toshino Mifune

And gonna come in with a weird choice:
[X] Jim Kelly

Yes he's a bit young, but I think he could do this role really well, and he's one of the best actor martial artists of this time period. Be nice to have more black people in Star Wars from the start, rather than just the incredible voice of James Earl Jones.

I absolutely adore Toshiro Mifune ij every one of his films.

As for Jim Kelly, I would love to see him as one of the leaders of the Rebels.

Leia: "The Rebellion used to have many Jedi... the last of them."

Luke: "There are Jedi in the rebellion?"

This man! After so many force users involved in the propping upof the Rebellion, it's weird none of them are off handedly mentioned in the prequels (given that these were all nonexistent/ver background back then), but still!

Dang, a follow up on whatever happened to Windu after he gets yeeted off the window by Palpy would've been great!

Peter Cushing played Tarkin in Star Wars IRL, and he and Christopher ( @Magoose not the spelling ) Lee worked together on numerous movies with Hammer, so I feel it would be good to have the two of them working together.

Is it ok to put it in separately, or are the votes only counted if they are in a plan?

Maybe we could do what George originally planned and have Luke's sister be a totally separate character from Leia? Even if we never explore it in the original trilogy we could include it in an animated show set right after the original trilogy. Maybe we could make our equivalent of Mara Jade Luke's sister. Have the Empire unknowingly raise the daughter of Annakin Skywalker as a Sith.

Also, when we inevitably make the prequels at least one story element should remain the same. Namely Obi-Wan's master dying and Obi-Wan being forced to step up as Annakin's master before he's ready. (And I did get this idea from that video)

While the idea is fun Mako was born in 1933. Which means that when production of A New Hope starts in 1976 he'd be 42. Which is too young to play the wise old mentor. Maybe when we do the prequels, which could be sooner considering that George wouldn't be burned out by making the original trilogy ITTL, we could cast Mako as Qui-Gon Jinn.

It would be a more meaningful act if she was trained as sith intentionally. Also, that kind of takes away Luke's main love interest. I'm cool with it, but we would need to give him someone else.
