-[X]Importing Foreign Films: So… you may have a way to get some films showing in American Theaters. Maybe you can go to other foreign film industries and… well, ask to distribute their films. (Linetail where you try to get films from, and if there are any specific films, line tail them below) DC: ???
--[X] Japan, Monkey Sun Rolled:D100 => 79

But hey… Maybe Strange was what the world needed.
Reward: You can now distribute Monkey Sun.
(Note: I'd Highly recommend sending Mike on his own to get this released, as it is a movie from Japan, and he isn't the boogyman of Hollywood Studios)

MASH Swept the Emmys. It was something that you were happy about. Very Happy About it.
But being nominated for a Directing Emmy, was something special.
Mostly because Hollywood was not going to be… ignoring you more than they have already. They have been….
Well to say that they accepted with a shit eating grin and a happy smile… Well that was an understatement.
You did the usual thanks, and than you said one thing to all of them. Their inability to stop you was… well… legendary.
Reward: +5 to Directing Skill.
You are now an Emmy Winning Director.

-[X]When Debbie Reynolds goes to War: So, Debbie is about to go to War and make sure that her daughter's film is perfect. So she called in Hollywood's biggest wrecking ball to back her up… You. DC: ??? Rolled:D100 => 95
You just stood there behind Debibe, well… actually you sat down on a chair that was behind her and let her do all the talking.
It was going to be better that way. "Why is he here?" The suit asked.
"Drop the garbage, my friend, he's only here because, without him, you wouldn't take anything I'd have to say seriously." That was not a threat she made lightly, considering your reputation. After all, whenever someone seemed to ask for help… at least when it came to things that were… incredible… Usually, they thought of you and then decided to not do it because they feared that you were going to destroy them all.
"But, there is the simple matter of editing the film." She said. "I saw it."
That was something that filled the suit's face with dread and horror. "You-"
"Do you think I would miss the chance to see my daughter's first film?" She asked. No demanded that he speak.
There was no answer. In fact, there was only fear. "You made a mockery of my daughter's work. You made a mockery of her, and your meddling could have destroyed everything that she has worked on."
She stood up. "I gave you my contract and her film out of faith that you were willing to work with me and give my daughter a chance, but I told my agent that if that film was not worked on, was not fixed to my daughter's vision, I will break my contract immediately, and I'm damn certain that Fox or Wanner would be happy to see me fall into their laps, because of your incompetence. I would also buy the film from you, right now." She pulled out a single check. That made your eyes bulge.
When the hell did she manage to get 1 million dollars? Also Where?
"The rest will be wired once the agents finish talking it through if that is how you want to do this?"
There was paling. Then there was a nervous laugh. "I'm sure my bosses will be able to"
"Right now." She said.
"Without Mister O'Brian." He begged.
You smiled and waved.
"Certainly."
You didn't know what happened in the meeting with the suits, but something told you that she did a very good job convincing them that pissing off one of their biggest Starlets by screwing over her daughter's film was… not a good idea.
Reward: Due to Debbie's Hardballing, she managed to get the editing team fired and replaced.
Significantly increases the Quality of the Film, when released.

-[X]The Final Months of Some Nights: Carrie wants you on set. She says she's not liking some of the things going on. DC: ??? Rolled:D100 => 12
Unfortunately, Universal did not like you all that much…. Or rather they were afraid of you.
And booted you off their grounds the moment they realized you were going to be on set.
Failure: You could not be there for Carrie. But at least it wasn't you're fault.
It will release in August or September.

-[X]The Friendship and Brotherhood of George Lucas: George wants to hang out and have fun. DC: 30 Rolled:D100 => 65
You were sitting on the beach with George, who was just… well he was just watching the waves crashing down and well, hanging out.
It was why you were surprised that he finally talked, it was about work. "I've been hearing rumors around the office. That you want to be Han Solo for Star Wars."
You looked at him with a raised eyebrow, before you sighed. "Who told you?"
"I mean a lot of guys were talking about it, there is a bet going on whether you get it or not, and the odds of you getting it are rather poor." He laughed and you smiled.
"What's your thoughts on the matter?" You asked.
"I want to make my own movie and have it stand on my own merits. Rather than be something that people see because of an actor or actress." He replied. And it was in a tone you never really heard from George. An honest one that wasn't clouded by doubt.
"You want to prove that people wanted to watch your movies for you, rather than the actors?" You asked, feeling unsure what else to really say.
He nodded. "Strange, you know." He then looked at the sand and lay down. "I'm just… afraid that if I choose you as the role, It wouldn't be my movie. It'd be yours."
You frowned. "Really, you think I'd steal the movie from you? That it wouldn't be your movie?"
George was quiet before he nodded.
You just gave a smile. "It's always going to be your movie. I just want to be a part of it."
And you both just sat on the beach for a while, and just watched the waves.
Reward: You can now line tail below the casting of Han Solo and get the part.
DC lowered to 0.

--[X] Akira Kurosawa, pay respects to the man who helped inspire George's vision and inquire about the distribution of his films in the United States (and, perhaps, one day beyond). Rolled:D100 => 99
(Authors Note: All the dialogue is spoken in Japanese, but is written in English for purposes of convenience)
You gave a small bow to the director as you were ushered in by his entourage. "Thank you for meeting me, Mister Kurosawa." You were still trying to get the hang of the honorifics, but you decided it is best to keep things a little more… well, formal. Even though your mind was a little walled at the language barrier.
"It is quite strange to see someone so young knowledgeable of our language." The director replied as you scratched your neck. "You speak it well."
"Thank you." You replied. "I've seen your work before I came, and I'm incredibly impressed by the artistry and production, and professionalism of your films. They are incredibly made. They serve as one of my coworker's inspirations for another world."
"Then he has very good taste." He replied bluntly. "But something tells me that you are not here to speak of past successes?"
"I'm not. I'm here on behalf of Lucasfilms Unlimited to try and distribute your work internationally, especially in the United States." You replied.
There was a chuckle from many of the entourage around him. "Many others have tried."
"Perhaps. But I've never backed down from a challenge. And all I see is profit to be made if you are willing to work with us." You pulled out a business card.
Kurosawa was quiet, and some of his fellows spoke, but he raised his hand. Silencing. "We shall consider this offer. With an open mind."
Reward: You have impressed Akira Kurasawa with your openness and your daring attitude.
Gain a permanent bonus when getting the rights to distribute his films.
On International Gross for any films produced by Lucasfilms Unlimited, increase the rolls by an additional ten million for the rest of the 1970s
AN: I had to write and post this early today due to family business.
I hope you enjoy.
