    TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

    To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

    I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

    I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

    I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

    I'll see you all around.

    Movie Pitch: Fighting Ship

    • Promt Name: Fighting Ship
    Genre: War, Historical, Drama
    Format: epic Movie
    General Idea: a movie covering the service history of the USS Johnston (DD-557), especially focusing on the heroic last stand of Taffy 3 during the Battle off Samar. The entire movie with the exception of the ending (the ceremony of Commander Evans posthumously recieving the Medal of Honour) is shot as it it's being told from the persepctive of the ship.

    @Magoose I just realized that we never got to see the responses for America vs Asia towards Bruce Lee's death beyond the rolls themselves. We also didn't go anywhere with the secret that Bruce's dad was talking about after he came out of the hospital. Unless I just missed it?

    I just did the rolls.

    As for Bruce's dads Secret, that will be coming a little later.
     
    Could it be possible to change one of the characters of Star Wars into being a tribute for Lee? Either altering Han or by making Ben Kenobi's Jedi robe a muted goldenrod with a black sash as a subtle reference to the famous jumpsuit he wore in the last movie he ever made. This especially works if we go the Mifune route or hire an actor from Hong Kong to fill the role.

    Or we could have the Lee tribute be in Indiana Jones and not have the most prominent Asian character in the franchise be an annoying pipsqeak.
     
    So since we have a near uninimous vote...

    But I'm keeping it open until this afternoon.

    Got things I need to do today unfortunately.

    However, I will say this:

    We're about to make a lot of friends and a lot of enemies in Hollywood rocking the boat like we just did.
