"Path to acquire Apeiron's tech for analysis without exposing Cauldron, 179 steps." answered Contessa "First step, 'say: We will have to buy it'"
"Shouldn't it be simpler to pop into Apeiron's workshop and steal something?" asked Eidolon in surprise "that's a lot of steps!"
Apeiron has a tracking power from "Built to Last", so a lot of steps might be needed to ensure the item in question won't count as 'lost', or that analysis happens anywhere but not at cauldron's base. Even without that power, PTV probably adds extra steps and precautions just to be on the safe side, because of inability to accurately predict Apeiron. Most of those steps are probably convincing Cauldron to actually try to buy the tech.
Certain aura-samurai might be on the summit too, he might even represent a splinter part of ABB. Or some ABB splinters might present a mundane representative, with a 'please don't wipe us out'/'looking for protectors' line. I doubt March and Backuda can control ABB sufficiently to prevent that and there are bound to be some smart people to realize where this goes or some stupid ones that think that they can do on their own.

Thank you, I'll be here all week.
So, I'm a bit tired but did we get actual descriptions of Survey and Fleet's appearances other than Survey has silver hair?
I think that was more a reference to the whole "homophobic" aspect of Nazis and the E88, rather than their "Whites Only" policy.Well, since aisha mentiones "destabilize the Empire by forcing their female membership to question their sexuality" i'd say probably an asian look?
Even if that's true, and I can't remember exactly if since it's been about 400k words probably, he has much more means than just technological for either finding them or dealing with the code. In fact, just finding Bakuda and then putting her to sleep would make more sense than whatever he's done these past 2 days and 400k words.Bakuda is in their dodge-tech pocket dimension atm, actually, and IIRC Joe said he wouldn't act to locate her while her threat was standing, but would rather deal with her once he got the Deadman's code cracked. Also, as far as he knows March is dead, just managed a hail-marry attack via Firmament-rift, which means that the ABB aren't really a threat anymore, esp since he doesn't know about the Game Grid or anything.

It will start from planet-busters and build from there. Joe's tech has the potential to subvert even shards with his access to shardspace, so if he wanted to make a tech plague then assume that it also extends to all parallel Earths with access to dimensional tech. Then expand onwards - unleashing the Matrix to the rest of the multiverse to consume everything in a universal scale Grey Goo scenario. You know i have this question for a while now. If Joe decided to just make an ultimate weapon without holding back and try as hard as he can how powerful would that weapon be ?
Edit: Also, hey. Means Joe could easily take control of and 'fix' the Machine Army now... with his new Nanotech abilities, the Machine Army could be his in an afternoon and either shut off or fixed.
As Joe is right now, he can easily cause the apocalypse through multiple methods. At minimum he has several S-Class threats capable of killing all life on the planet, but even then still has a few options that straight up reduce the Earth to space dust. I suspect if forced he could destroy the Solar System or at least destroy the sun.You know i have this question for a while now. Bakuda was planning on blowing up everyone in the park at the mere hint of apeiron tech, and was believed to have been hiding out in the I-feild/a stealth field place. Deciding to not risk things and jump into battle immediately after what happened(esp since exotic bomb effects are still a concern), and instead just remove her leverage, makes a lot more sense imo.Even if that's true, and I can't remember exactly if since it's been about 400k words probably, he has much more means than just technological for either finding them or dealing with the code. Joe is at a point where when it comes to weapons, you have to ask what the goal is. Does he want a people-murdering machine? Divne Soul-poisoning weapon with an HF monomolecular Lathe Metal blade. A universe destroyer? Divine Heretically Adapting Warp-Grenade that makes the riftiest rift to ever rift. Etc. Joe can make almost anything he wants atm, tbh.It will start from planet-busters and build from there. And that is the easy stuff. If Joe wants, he can probably just damage the fabric of existence itself, whether through magic or through changing universal constants until the laws of physics themselves fall apart.
Also, it had the word 'cat' in it, and that was really all he cared about. One of the most dangerous beings on the planet, choosing a name indicating unrivaled destruction, and picked entirely for the purposes of the pun.
Dang, all these perks and Apeiron doesn't have anything that lets him be stealthy. Also, do you think Survey is going to get Sabah's interest after they meet? Considering even her 'normalized' looks are going to be well... probably devastating.
Which will lead to interesting times as both Survey and Garment would have the interest of the Sabah and Lily respectively...
...and both are technically products of Joe's powers.
Ironic.
