Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Oh my God. Joe is becoming powerful enough to break every rule in the Evil Overlord List without consequences. Can the world really withstand such power without descending into state of constant CATastrophe.

A fairly slow chapter, but I am excited none the less. We're finally out of the "Time" arc! I do like how the game plan for the meeting was glossed over, it both saves wordcount and allows us to see the plan unfold at the same time as the rest of the collected capes.

Really good. Loved seeing Survey's view of the world and how being granted a Soul influences the AIs.

Also, 'super hot' Survey is hilarious to me. Especially with how new she's going to be to admiration. That's gonna cause a lot of internal fluster I'll find adorable.

Pumped for Somer's Rock, though I'm curious how much of it is gonna be the Workshop Crew perspective and the other meeting members. I'd be most interested in seeing other's perspectives on the entrance first, so I can really feel how impactfull they are.

I know it's not justified but I'm kind of a little bit mad about this chapter, I don't know why, I just am.
Alternative Chapter Title: The Blueballing of Somer's Rock.
Hard to tell at this point in the story. Perhaps eventually he'll develop some unusual traits and we'll find out.
Yeah, it's kind of hard to test a power to make yourself look normal when Tybalt is a perfectly respectable individual you know? Sure, he might be a bit short and hairy, but you can't blame that on him.

Survey? More like Galatea, amirite?

Honestly, it does provide even more cover for "Delphine Mertens", though unintentional it may be. After all, if Survey is this figurative (and literal) bombshell of a super-silver-haired woman that is literally perfection, then Miss Delphine Mertens would certainly be seen as very far away from that. After all, Purity got away with literally just covering herself with light, while Survey is basically Reverse Shazam-ing herself in her civilian form.

Whelp.

The Kataklyzien is about to hit the world.

And there will be many meows.

God, what an appropriate name for Tybalt. Both for the pun, and for the perfectly accurate descriptor of what he can do.

Also, Survey's PoV was god damn beautiful. HA! Oh yeah, gorgeous Survey is gorgeous. I hope she keeps the better looks in her cape guise. Its going to be amazing to see the reactions. And no direct descriptions yet! Though we have clues.

And nothing for Matrix! At least Tetra sounds adorable and awesome. And when people connect the whole 'red lines' thing with her... they're going to realize a lot of implications.

One day though, once Apeiron becomes the centermost figure of the future of the world... Survey is going to need to publish her data and details. Because the reactions to that would be a work few people could match. And understanding of the Celestial Forge when Apeiron starts uplifting the world after saving it is going to be a key bit of information.

Especially as, even now, few beings on the planet are going to be able to challenge him or even be a threat to him. But in the future? Oh dear god.

Also... how long until Survey gets a full read on Dragon and her systems?

If Saint brings Ascalon into Survey's new radius of technopathy... ooooh yeah, shit is going to hit the fan.

Joe made... Divine AI. Literally pieces of godlike power. That... is fucking amazing and beautiful.

I really, really can't wait for Saint's aneurysm.

Edit: Also, hey. Means Joe could easily take control of and 'fix' the Machine Army now... with his new Nanotech abilities, the Machine Army could be his in an afternoon and either shut off or fixed.

Lord, the longer you keep edging your reader base, the larger the splooge explosion will be, you know!?

Also, I can think of no finer weapon for Survey to have than a face that launches a thousand ships... just imagining her giving an End bringer speech and making everyone 200% MOTIVATED lmao

God, 6 people on "Team Apeiron" at Somer's Rock... 5 of whom are unknowns. That'll cause some waves.

Also, Tattletale is gonna (quietly) freak when either 5 more people immune to her power or several S class threats come in.

Could be the start of a joke. The greatest tinker in the world, two AI, a swarm of nanobots, a sentient bioweapon, an imp and a cat walk into a bar...

Excuse me, they are the owner of the Celestial Forge, the world's best driver, the world's best search engine, the world's pickiest builder, a ferret, a teen with a Master's Degree, and a Purrfectly Respectable Cat walking into a bar! Be more precise with the descriptions, will you? :D

Way earlier on in the story, didn't Joe get a skill that allowed him to perfectly understand and use all alien tech, which included tinker tech? Why is he having so much trouble with Bakuda's bombs if this is the case?

Ok, so I just realized that Survey's body is not going to help the people wondering about his ability to help case 53s. She has silver hair, and if my lore is right, any permanent physical alteration technically results in a case 53 designation, though usually memory loss is a required component. Honestly, Fleet seems to be the most normal looking, though if he has a transformation like the chassis he is based on (don't know the anime that well), that would either result in a changer rating or another question about how many case 53s Joe has worked on.

That's not mentioning Tetra, but as someone else said, if people make the connection with the "Red Nightmare Mode" its a toss up between biotinkered creature or c53, and if she starts talking it could quickly be assumed as c53 with the other evidence.

To continue the trend of people seeing what they want to see, they might even think Aisha is a c53 that Joe hasn't quite helped yet, since she has fully covering armor, to my mental image.

Depending on Matrix's form, if its the Gun-EZ that he actually shows up in, its possible that he might have the highest chance of being tagged as a tinker creation, considering the original shape of the mech that fought with Lung.

To be completely honest, the rumor of a cluster c53 trigger could hold quite a lot of water just from appearances.

Okay, so I just though about this, so the fact that both Joe and Sabah both triggered feels unlikely, that is until I remembered a old Wildbow wog about how shards decided when to switch hosts.

The wog mentioned that a Shard could change to a different host if a person that thier host regularly interacted with was more interesting. And if they did change the shard would send out a message that would go to Shards that would compliment its host potential powers.

I think this is what happened with sabah and Joe, king of arms was originally supposed to go to sabah, but then after coming into contact with Joe regularly enough, it found Joe to be a more compatible host, and sent out a message that sabahs shard picked up and decided to take sabah as her host.

This would also explain why sabah is not full compatible with her shard and not using it to 100 present.

Also think about how terrfying king of arms Joe and a hundred present power sabah would be.

So... I do have a question: Is Joe asexual? Maybe autistic? How in a world he didn't realize the hotness of his creations? He did try to get Sabah as his girlfriend.
Did CF rob him out of his hormones? Maybe worse, slowly rob him out of his humanity, one piece at time? It's pretty concerning, even a little sad. All this power and he never find any love in his live

Considering Survey is his daughter, him finding her hot would have grossed him out.
Edit: Error correction.
