Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Once again comes Tattletales 'cops with robbers' analogue come to bite her
I'm mean is it that shocking that Tattletale feed Taylor bs that came to bite her later. The "cape and robbers" was lie If I ever seen one, how did Taylor never realize Tattletale manipulated her I will never know. You can't just commit a bunch of crimes and think you can just pay a lawyer and make all disappear in order to switch to being a hero. But it didn't matter in the end Taylor still manage to join the wards and avoid just being sent to prison for the next couple of years. Well she did have to be monitor as a Ward and other things.

Well she did have to be monitor as a Ward and other things.
Being a monitor is just classic consol duty that everyone has to do. She got a damn fine deal. With these charges she would have to gone to a maximum prison just short of the birdcage.

Well Taylor was too wrapped into her own misery to notice... I think. Actually I think she subconsciously denied it since it was her first friends in a while. Along with gaslighting and that condition where you begin to identity yourself with those around you.
From imma undercover with Armsys permission to turn all these scum villians in. Then she felt that her scum criminals weren't so bad at all. She began to like her friends. It helped she never knew the official reports nor the extent of Tattletales blackmail. Then she had friends while she had an escape from school. Even now she thinks that she's a undercover hero that's just acting as a villian to seek their mysterious boss and has to 'tough it out' or something. >.<

Anyway, what situation would have happend if Joe were to explain exactly what she is doing and with how many felonys she is on? I'm thinking that Joe asks as he wants to know here plan regarding to future and wants to know why she wants to add on to her felonys so much.

It's pronounced "LIBRA" and it looks like a giant trapezoid with a plasma beam cannon.

The AC Gundam timeline (Gundam Wing) isn't quite as bullshit as the Minovsky/UC main timeline, but its mobile suits do not rely on the narrative precursor of Element Zero to stay limber, like Manpower is experiencing. They just use tougher metals. O.O

The AC timeline is a box of hyper-alloys, piloting A.I. and the gun.

The titular Wing Zero wields the Buster Rifle: a plasma rifle that's capable of impossible output. A mech-portable double rifle that can destroy capital ships and stations in a few seconds. Put an Annihilator effect on it (or just upscale it, like with LIBRA station) and you have a planet buster, pardon the pun.

Other tech worth salivating over is stuff he sadly already has. Mobile Dolls - Mass plug'n'play remote control that can 'learn' but not in the field, only when fed data. Fleet is better in pretty much every way, maybe it'll help him offload multitasking.
And finally the Zero System. Combat assist A.I. that does basically the same tricks as Shards to give a few seconds of precog. Sort of like a Jedi. Also has a nasty tendency to go into a paranoiac feedback loop, so use with care.

It being an Anime, of course they installed the A.I. that drives you crazy on the same revolutionary prototype that has the city-eraser gun.
The same prototype that pretty much got analyzed and copied to form the setting's whole techbase, mind you.
And a fun reminder about Libra! When the 5 G-Scientists were forced to make it, they deliberately halfassed and sabotaged as much of it as they could. The massive primary canon? They intentionally built it so it broke itself each time it fired, that was the only known restriction on it's firing rate.

Well look at that, Joe has insta crafting now with all the power ups that increase his speed at it. I would even say that it will be incredibly beautiful to see the duplicates make an Gundam army when an Endbringer comes next time.
It's not Insta crafting. But it is a massive reduction. I am assuming it would take an experienced team of 10 a week to build a mobile suit if all the parts are ready and they just need to build it using the parts. So if he can build 10 in a week, then his work is 10 times faster than a team of 10. So it's roughly an x100 speed modifier.

Then the perk says he can double or even trip that if he works hard at it. So basically he has a x100 speed increase that with effect can reach x300.

Now I could be wrong on my assumption on how long it takes a team of 10 to build 1 mobile suit. But for an ultra conservative estimate let's say it takes them a week to pump out 5 mobile suits. That means his speed is increased by a minimum of x20 (x10 for the work of 10 people and x2 for doing double that) with the potential of being x60.

So on the lower end we are talking about x60 increase in production speed. Add that to his other speed powers and you have more than x48000 speed depending on what he is building (some perks are vague so I give them x10).

To put that into perspective, it took him 1 hour to build 5 super advanced watches for the undersides. Now it would take him 1 minute. And that is being conservative. If it is at max a x300 speed increase, then it would take him 12 seconds to build the 5 watches. Well build one and let workaholic make the other 4.

BTW I am not counting any other speed increase perks since the watches were built other than the 600cp Build Rome.

As a side not, the watches would probably last thousands Of years instead of hundreds now, since the perk also increases the life expectancy of items.

The thing that will benefit the Most from this speed increases is Matrix. Since Joe is constantly making new nanites a potential x300 speed increase or even just a x30 speed increase would be very significant.

Would Joe be able to add life fiver to nanites? And if he can would it make any difference as it's too small?

The capes and robbers analog is close enough if you're playing at the street level. The problem was, the Queen of Escalation was never going to stay at the street level.

The other problem was, Taylor desperately needed friends and Lisa was the closest thing available to one.

Lethe hasn't debuted yet, right? Officially, I mean.

'cause I have an idea for an omake where she's patrolling and people mistake her as family/employee/teammate/girlfriend of Apeiron.

Which brings into mind, what DOES Aisha think of Joe? What kind of relationship do they have at this moment? In my mind, it seems like a familial relationship: brother and sister, you know?

What do you guys think?

With this its a game changer. I'm actually glad that its this 600 perk that he got first. There are a few 600s that almost creates more problems than it solves. This is a safe perk.
Ya it's one of the few or only safe 600cp perk, as the rest would affect him physically, mentally, or cause him stress due to the implications of where the power is from or how it works.

Like the Arc-magos from 40k would include training under the cult of mechanics of a long number of years. So he would have first hand experience in how fùcked up that world is. I mean even just having the facts about it shoved in your head without having the experience of living it shoved in your head would be enough to make him distressed.

If he got the strong spark perk, it would not have been pretty with him unable to move and his duplicates in the madness place. Granted the inner Qi from HSDK would help, but it would not have been the best perk to roll.

Wow, after seeing all those crafting speed increase perks, it makes me wonder how many can you keep stacking until you can build a suit of armor within seconds, or build a giant robot(gundam) within minutes.
Well not all of the perks work all the time. This one does though. Some are restricted to planes, mechanical things, or even being able to work as a team of 10 (which won't count for tasks were people cooperating won't increase speed).

This was the last perk that gives a straight speed increase in the time constellation. The others aren't straight speed increase.

The thing is though, he can built a lot of things into what ever he make. He can then combine multiple machines to make a new one, and once he gets armsmaster's power he will be able to crap a lot of shit in there. So even a suit of armour would likely take a few minutes. That is if I am not wrong and the speed multiplier from the last perk is not more than x300, because that is a possibility.

So! As a confirmation? Who has the most Sturdy Gear?

Aisha/ Leath or Taylor/ Lady Khepri?

Which one works better due to Aperion backing?

I mean, arguably the Undersiders are being hired out from Coil.

The Travelers are now hired out by Coil.

Is Coil hiring out Aperion's services without Confirming?

Will Uber & Leet be making a return to BB?

Edit: I have to ask? Will one of the powers be to Rez Taylor's Mother? I mean, it has a lot of powers that could do so?

The only thing stopping "legitimate" counterfeit money is the unique dye, material, and manufacturing process the US (and other countries) mint has. With all his perks, it's easy for Joe to identify those details, create his own minting machines and produce infinite currency. With the new time perk, Joe could crash the economy of the United States by introducing an incredible surplus of materials, food, and, high quality goods into the market while simultaneously deleting all "digital" currency from bank accounts and creating massive inflation with paper money. All in a day's work. Now that's scary!
Nah, the only thing stopping him from making counterfeit money is that the bills would be too pretty to be real.

I wonder how long it will take before people realize that even with their theory about him being a Mad Tinker or whatever, he never actually loses any coherency and gets better in every conceivable way exponentially? After a certain point they've got to realize common sense for Tinkers even Mad ones simply don't apply to Apeiron right?
You have to realize that when people have a theory they can be damn stubern when they see evidence to it being wrong and will try to twist it to fit their world view
They come to the conclusion that Appeiron's madness manifests in being more melodramatic/extra/showman and a compulsive need to make everything prettier.

What if the PRT makes a new theory about Aperion's power, combining the previous two theories: Aperion has access to a mad tinker power, but is modifying it so the results are more stable with his "power tinker" abilities?

He may have to be. Honestly not sure if Joe has realised, and highly doubtful Chen has either, but in Worm nomenclature Aura is pretty much a self- perpetuating trump ability. It also, in a seeming antithesis to Earth!Bet societal standard, force ppl to face, understand and accept their personal issues.
MONUMENTS shall be built in Joe's name with the collective amount of bricks the PRT will shit if Aura ever becomes public (completely ignoring all the OTHER world ending/societal destroying tech he has :p)

It's the perfect power to give his Therapist. "You can now give people super powers, which they can only use when being introspective and acknowledging their personal issues. Or, at least, you will be able to once you get introspective, and acknowledge your personal issues." Heck, though Joe doesn't know it, it could solve both the "Eidolon is losing his powers" and the "Endbringers attack cities" problems at the same time. (Of course, then you get the likes of Jack Slash, who positively revel in their issues, and would access Aura powers from the other end of the spectrum... Not good!)

Bearing in mind that Aisha is 13, and Joe is early 20s (based on sharing a class with Parian, who is about 21), they had best default to "little sister", "cousin" or "daughter". Of course, PHO tried pairing him with Taylor (aged 15) pretty quickly, so all bets are off...

Still waiting for the Self insert who takes over Zion and wins.
You mean, like I, Scion, by Ack1308, completed in March 2015? (Or, did you misspell "Zeon" to go with "Gundam"?)

Oh yes, I know. The reason why I suggested that people in-universe would mistake her as a love interest is due to the quality of works of Apeiron. Coupled with her memory ability, it wouldn't be too much to presume that she is far older than she actually is. At least, by the people she encounters in costume.

As for me, I really think that Aisha sees Apeiron as another brother figure, or a best friend she highly respects. We see her realization of being the apparent heiress to Apeiron's tech, which is why I am curious on how she sees him now that she has time to process.

The Mad Scientist isn't a specialization but a sub class of tinker. Like how human masters are a sub class of master. So his official designation would be something like tinker 12+ specialization power tinker addendum mad scientist sub YES.

The other problem was, Taylor desperately needed friends and Lisa was the closest thing available to one.
-And Lisa wanted to recruit a powerful cape that also pressed a lot of her buttons. I think one of the few reasons they become friends both in canon and here is that they become a team. Lisa's choice of attack is litteraly to steal secrets from other people. If she had gotten ahold of Tattletales records on how similar she's to Emma then she'd have noped.

Iirc she's 1,8m in that suit. So she would have to be a really short women in order to fit inside it. Its far too likely they would attribute it to being underage like Khepri or being even younger.

They come to the conclusion that Appeiron's madness manifests in being more melodramatic/extra/showman and a compulsive need to make everything prettier.
Also a commitment to established personal rules. Everything to make his technology more stable. If Coil has been thinking it then the PRT must also have been thinking it.

Eh, not quite on the Eidolon part. His powers give him what powers he needs and it gave him Endbringers when his powers began to weaken because no opponent so far was strong enough that they put him in a situation that he needed his powers at 100% to escape or solve. Since even at his weakest he is too strong to actually need a power up, it created situations in which he might reach a do or die point.

Instrospection wouldn't solve that, unless you meant to admit he doesn't need to be strong so that his powers give up on recharging.

Admitedly, it has been a while since I read Worm andI haven't read Ward so I could be wrong.

Actually, I don't think so. His devices, iirc, already can last forever, unless broken deliberately or by misuse. Only one reason why he said watches will stop working in twenty nine thirty, is because they gonna need a battery recharge.

edit (explanation/proof):
Built to Last (Assassin's Creed) 300:
Whatever you personally build, be it handheld or architectural, becomes nigh-impervious to weather, rust and time. If it gets lost or buried, you can 'feel' it out too!
Reliable Invention (Kim Possible) 200:
Anything you construct is only broken when used improperly or purposefully targeted with attacks. The items you create do not malfunction and are completely resistant to damage caused by regular usage.
a mote from the Resources and Durability constellation called Robust Engineering, and it was connected to my Decadence power.
This power concerned building technology that would last a ridiculous amount of time. On its own this would let my work hold together for centuries. The thing was, I already had Built to Last and Reliable Invention, both of which extended the life of my inventions indefinitely. You would think that kind of thing would make this power useless, but there was one significant difference.
This power wasn't just about a something not breaking down for centuries, it was about it lasting for centuries. As in, continuing to function. And a device can't function without power.
It might seem minor, but this technology gave an understanding of how to stretch power sources to a ridiculous duration. It couldn't do anything with ammunition or propellant, but any form of battery or self-contained power source could be extended over a duration approaching the life of the Roman Empire.

Love how Joe apparently became the Emperor of Mankind with his Custodes being himself and his Silent sisters being an actual unseeable/unknowable cape. Too perfect a mental image and really funny. Can't wait for the eventual recording and how all are going to react to a even more boosted and healthy Joe. Also Taylor and Joe gonna have words after this cause I fee she's not happy bout some things lol.

Nah, he is still a mad thinker, for he has gone so far past the boundaries of sanity that he has looped out of madness and into some grand and terrible logic of the world that limited and flawed humanity blots out of understanding least they break under its majesty.

For while they live in a squalid shack on the side of a drainage ditch he has constructed a gleaming palace made of wonder and dreams on the high hill of imagination.
