Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Loved ashia in this chap and shows she's growing as a person. It only took everything going to shit for her and meeting essentially tinker god but progress is progress. I want aperion to do a web ask me on pho to explain what the hell is going on. I mean he won't because issues but damn do I want to see everyone's reaction to it.
Once he's in the clear, one of his clones might think of it, for their 20% percent time if no other reason.

Ya know, with all the tech and time upgrades, Joe might be able to build the death star in a day

It's pronounced "LIBRA" and it looks like a giant trapezoid with a plasma beam cannon.

The AC Gundam timeline (Gundam Wing) isn't quite as bullshit as the Minovsky/UC main timeline, but its mobile suits do not rely on the narrative precursor of Element Zero to stay limber, like Manpower is experiencing. They just use tougher metals. O.O

The AC timeline is a box of hyper-alloys, piloting A.I. and the gun.

The titular Wing Zero wields the Buster Rifle: a plasma rifle that's capable of impossible output. A mech-portable double rifle that can destroy capital ships and stations in a few seconds. Put an Annihilator effect on it (or just upscale it, like with LIBRA station) and you have a planet buster, pardon the pun.

Other tech worth salivating over is stuff he sadly already has. Mobile Dolls - Mass plug'n'play remote control that can 'learn' but not in the field, only when fed data. Fleet is better in pretty much every way, maybe it'll help him offload multitasking.
And finally the Zero System. Combat assist A.I. that does basically the same tricks as Shards to give a few seconds of precog. Sort of like a Jedi. Also has a nasty tendency to go into a paranoiac feedback loop, so use with care.

It being an Anime, of course they installed the A.I. that drives you crazy on the same revolutionary prototype that has the city-eraser gun.
The same prototype that pretty much got analyzed and copied to form the setting's whole techbase, mind you.

This is a criticism that comes up sometimes, but the problem is that nothing can be cut. This is because the powers are gained based on word count. Cutting things out would also alter the power rolling and change the entire story.
That's not the reason to not cut things though, that is a consequence of the process.

The reason to not cut things is that the "fat" consists of getting powers and building stuff. The rules and power gaming is interesting and draws as much attention as the plot.

Basicley if you look at a chapter that is 1/4 avoiding checking email and 3/4 clones arguing about jet planes, and skip it, this is not a story that will hold your interest.

The problem is that if Lord cut out lots of words Joe would not have the same powers. Whenever someone asks to cut stuff out, what they are actually asking is rewrite the whole story. It's quite a tall ask.

Am I the only one worried about Joe getting "reforged"?
Because if he's reforged 100% in the celestial forge he stops being a human and become a God. He's already a demigod but this is a big leap.
Like Malcador from warhammer 40k said, Gods can't save the universe because they can't understand what is to be a mere mortal. A God doesn't understand what is to afraid, being hurt or having empathy and loving others.
So yeah, I'm worried that Joe stop being Joe and become uncaring omnipotent being like Dr.Manhattan or The Emperor.
Any thoughts?

I wouldn't say he becomes a god. I don't think he's has enough power to forge himself to become someone with nigh unlimited power. I think the duplicates are going to forge him a new body and seperate Tetra at the same time like some excess material. I'm unsure if this new body will involve technology or biotechnology. I wouldn't want him to become a Transformer. Though the duplicates wouldn't do something that they have had the forsight to avoid. Unsure how his mental factilities would be affected.

Well...
Lord said on Ao3, regarding melting Joe and Tetra like iron:
I have commented on this over on SV, but it is technically possible, but one of the less preferable options for medical treatment. It also would be difficult to accomplish without seriously damaging either Tetra or Joe, which is the real problem here. The duplicates have a lot of options for treating Joe, it's just that they are not all good or even particularly palatable options.
Oh for sure it would not be painless it would probably be pretty damn painful, but just because they can treat it like iron doesn't mean it's actually iron Tetra would still be Life Fibers and Joe would still be Joe, both with amazing healing capabilities.

Part of the problem honestly Life Fibers recovered from annihilation pretty quickly and is the main reason for the problem (not Tetra's fault just a fact) they probably be fine from such a procedure, the only reason this would be avoided is that the pain of extraction would be excruciating for the both of them unlikely to kill them but well another method would be preferable.

Well look at that, Joe has insta crafting now with all the power ups that increase his speed at it. I would even say that it will be incredibly beautiful to see the duplicates make an Gundam army when an Endbringer comes next time.

She also knew that unless they were able to clean things up that area was going to be dark for nearly a month. She knew there was more to that field than just robot damage, something connected with online reaction that had Joe's duplicates regularly freaking out. She knew they were concerned and uncertain about the way the 'Dust' had spread through the city, and what it could mean.
I'm guessing the god tier mastercrafted dust crystals interwoven into his cloak then blasted into the docks are growing, slowly but non-negligibly.

I wonder how long it will take before people realize that even with their theory about him being a Mad Tinker or whatever, he never actually loses any coherency and gets better in every conceivable way exponentially? After a certain point they've got to realize common sense for Tinkers even Mad ones simply don't apply to Apeiron right?

You have to realize that when people have a theory they can be damn stubern when they see evidence to it being wrong and will try to twist it to fit their world view

Also really hope Chen is gonna be brought into the fold TBH.

He may have to be. Honestly not sure if Joe has realised, and highly doubtful Chen has either, but in Worm nomenclature Aura is pretty much a self- perpetuating trump ability. It also, in a seeming antithesis to Earth!Bet societal standard, force ppl to face, understand and accept their personal issues.
MONUMENTS shall be built in Joe's name with the collective amount of bricks the PRT will shit if Aura ever becomes public (completely ignoring all the OTHER world ending/societal destroying tech he has :p)

I really hope that Apeiron be more proactive in fixing the world like saving Dinah because it's getting boring, repeating the same thing over and over again (making new stuff, being surprised by something, not impacting the world in a positive way).
Considering the PRT (not PRT ENE, I'm talking THE PRT) is gonna have to come up with a national approach policy for him alone, I don't think shit will stay the same.
Indeed, let Joe keep his cool persona for a little longer. I'd imagine Chen as more of an ally, actually. Aisha was a kid, and someone who needed some support, and on top of that, someone who knew Apherion's secret. Chen feels more... removed? Like they would be allies, but more like Apherion is his backer that Aisha's and Joe's closeness. (Though who knows, or cares, as long as we get more time with Our Boi Chen)
I just feel Joe needs more friends who really get what he's going through.

Hm...... Interesting points.... THat's another point, although not my main reasoning for hoping for that. Also with Aisha leading this meeting, she might find a way to bring him into the workshop for one of many reasons.

How long until Joe is capable of matching the national GDP in terms of production?
Already? I think he surpassed it. Because, lets be honest here, there's no country on Earth Bet that could build even one Gundam.
More seriously, I really think he already can be on the comparable level, at least.

He also now has access to more healing magic in the form of talismans, which are man-portable and can be produced en-masse for quick healing. Essentially Jozef can clear out large hospitals in the space of a night or less at t hi s point if he prepares enough talismans.
Actually, I think if he'd go all out, he could do it in less than a hour. Likely - in a couple of minutes.

I really hope that Apeiron be more proactive in fixing the world like saving Dinah because it's getting boring, repeating the same thing over and over again (making new stuff, being surprised by something, not impacting the world in a positive way).
The main problem here is (or, probably, was, since he outed some big guns during the fight with Lung), that once he'll start to move in that direction, plenty of "I want everyone to suffer" people will rush here to hinder his efforts, preferable by killing him. And one of those people - Simurgh.
That's why he didn't want to make too bold moves.

Seeing Chen was awesome, seeing Aisha's growth was awesome and reading more about Gully just makes me love her more (Also it was awesome). This whole chapter was awesome!
I signing under every single word. I couldn't phrase it better.

but I'd say the scariest thing he's capable of is singlehandedly crashing the world economy. ... All in a day's work. Now that's scary!
Well, I see your point. But still, I think "can crash the world economy in a day of work" not nearly as skary as "can crash the world in a day of work".

As typos go, that one is a little obtuse.
Indeed. But at least, as Rooster said, Aisha is a cute, to make up for it.

Few more corrections:
If Apeiron could deploy weapons that could stop what an Endbinger couldn't, then what could he do to an Endbringer? Endbinger -> Endbringer

It was enduring, but also more than a little sad.: enduring -> endearing

Pulse anyone outside the hospital system: Pulse -> Plus

If that wasn;t bad enough, missing sections of the house's weed choked yard suggested the power wasn't concerned with Manton limitations. wasn;t -> wasn't

Namly he, or at least the clones, had been able to send the activation spell phrase thing through broadcasts and recordings. Namly -> Namely

They crinkled then started to bunch and sloth off. sloth off -> slough off

Really enjoying this tale.

strength of a god and the grace of an angle
Oh no! It's the dreaded Rouge Angles of Satin! (TVTropes)
I remember that canon Taylor got shocked when her lawyer told her thar she has treason charges. I hope either Joe or Joe 2nd tells her. Really frustrating with her. Joe might need to store her in a stasis field.
What for? (I only read up to S9 arc and it never came up in a fic I've read)

My take was that Joe's duplicates are freaking out over Gundam everytime they reset.

He hadn't had time before. He might have materials and skill nessecary before but not the time for it.

With this its a game changer. I'm actually glad that its this 600 perk that he got first. There are a few 600s that almost creates more problems than it solves. This is a safe perk.

What for? (I only read up to S9 arc and it never came up in a fic I've read)
It was when she heard from Dinah that the world would have a "1,5%" ish better chance to be saved if she were to join the PRT. So she went over teammates head to surrender to PRT. When she's in customy and has gotten a lawyer there to calculate everything she has done as a criminal. Her lawyer answer her that to take over American territory and declare her own is treason. Once again comes Tattletales 'cops with robbers' analogue come to bite her. I think its in arc 21.

Always surprised me there are extremely few gundom fan fictions I've found at least. Still waiting for the Self insert who takes over Zion and wins. Sadly the best out there is one that after 300k is still building up Zion.

Thanks for the chapter. The 40k emperor stuck on his throne there is strong here lol
