The "at" might be just a little more formal (I wouldn't know, I quit English as a major to learn Japanese), but without it still works.

I would put money on Maya sitting enraptured watching Ritsuko sleep than her doing anything that could possibly end with Ritsuko in even worse condition.

Heh. Well, after that last nighttime conversation, both Shinji and Asuka have acknowledged to each other they both are very attracted to Rei, so it's not unconscious anymore. Asuka's just less careful about letting it slip in her words. Shinji is just as interested in Rei as Asuka is, and thanks to NERV showers and that little incident in Rei's old apartment, neither of them have to imagine what Rei looks like au naturel. :ogles:

This does not help Asuka to keep those thoughts at bay.
