Which is apt. Demigodfather and Demigodmother don't have the same ring to them, admittedly. :p
Continuing the topic of awkward conversations.
Yui and Kyoko are both workaholics. Which means that them becoming Evangelions is not going to stop them from seeking employment. The ideas that come to mind are construction, singing for heavy metal groups and university teaching. All are very peculiar to say the least.

I have a question in regards to Advice and Trust. Would Gendo or Seele view the Eva pilots like what is shown in this clip?

I mean…in a way kinda. SEELE and Gendo see the pilots as tools for their end goals, but ultimately disposable in the grand scheme. The only exception is Rei, because Gendo sees Rei as an offshoot of Yui he is just a little bit more open with her. But like the rest is disposable in her own ways.

Technically even Rei is disposable, just look at the clones. Also, it could be that Gendo was planning on having all the Eva's plotted by Rei Clones before it turned out that only one of them can be "Active" at any given time. Which didn't make him see Rei as any LESS expendable until the clone tank was shut down. Even then, Rei only needs to survive long enough for Gendo to use her as a way to set HIS version of Impact Three in motion. After which, she can up and drop dead on the spot for all he cares.

Wooweeh, finally caught up with this story. It's been in my crossair for a while now and I'm glad to see it alive and well. Is it wrong that I want a tragic ending true NGE style?

There's enough bleakness in the world today, so I'm on Team Hopeful Ending.
Same here. Even if Impact 3 gets set off (which might be unavoidable thanks to SEELE, and the only option being to hijack it), I want it to turn out like how it did in You Are (Not) At Fault. Without Shinji being as much of a mess as he was in the start of that (given how it takes place after the Canon Ending, it's to be expected). Just the lack of Warlords or other sorts of people like that coming to power after Impact 3.

I have a question in regards to what you just said. Whether the Third impact happens or not, can a societal collapse happed due to loss of faith in the government?

Societal collapse always happens due to a loss of faith in the government, even with dictators, you lose faith that they can push you down when you rise up, and you rise up. You lose faith in a Western style Representative Republic or Democracy, the dictators take over, and then you are back at the first point after a while

Given that SEELE was working from the shadows and had likely spent some time before Impact 2 setting things up so they could manipulate if not the people in charge of a country, definitely people in key places. We would probably be seeing various governments rooting out any SEELE members in them.

Actually, my guess as to why Kaji was roped into this whole mess with SEELE was because he was being sent to investigate cases of military equipment under at least one general in the JSSDF (which I would say would be the JSDF's equivalent to the Marines) or resource shipments vanishing. And once they learned about SEELE's existence, sent him in to figure out what they're up to.

Seconded. VERY MUCH seconded. In fact, I will let Mr. Bob Luman illustrate my point:

A hopeful ending?
