Um we're in a million pl. They've sensed us.
Good point
@PoptartProdigy : The vote option for ping talks about how it might alert them, but given that we are already powered up to a million aren't they already alerted?

Edit: Nevermind already mentioned in the vote. Not sure how a ping alerts them any more then us powering up.

[X] Ping and act quickly
-[X] Ping. With your ki sense, you're pretty sure this'll let you sense almost anybody in this prison, suppressing or not, but if there are other attackers, they'll know for certain that you're onto them, if powering up didn't do it already.
-[X] Rush to the other prisoners. You're not letting these people die, whatever the reason. If you weren't willing to kill them in a battle, you're not willing to let somebody do it in cold blood.
-[X] If you sense anyone powering up go to double their level, but preferably deal with them before they finish powering up.

Why is double mentioned explicitly and not some numerical value? Isn't half-a-million guy more dangerous than 100k that is powering to 200k? Does "powering to double" indicates something dangerous (I know almost nothing of DB lore)?

If we are double someone's power level we should be able to beat them even if they are a kun-fu wizard.

Edit: Well it is theoretically possible we might still loss, but I think every 10% stronger we are is a +10 to our rolls so double their power level should be a +100 to our rolls. Considering that we roll d100's that is a very large amount.

Oh, sorry, it was my reading comprehension failure. I somehow read "if someone is powering to double their level, finish him first" instead of what was really written - "keep your power level at least twice as high as any of assassins, finish off those who try to power up".

Just reread the vote. Right now we know, but they might not know we know. If we ping, they'll definitely know we know. So, it's a gamble whether we're fast enough to disable them before they decide to take drastic action like shooting the hostages.

Allow me to try and calculate Kakara's bonus to combat.

+100 (double power level, if we get them before they can power up then effectively infinite)
+10 (novice Tien Style)
+20 (talented crowed fighting or 30 is there is only one for dueling)
+30 (exceptional flying to get to them quickly. Might even allow us to use dueling)
+20 (Protector)
+5? (Decisive)
=+185 to our roll

Of course lets say we want to try and talk them down instead of beating them up only powering up to show we are serious. I don't know the difference between slight, small and moderate so I put alot of things down with 5?

+30 (Communications)
+20 (Protector)
+10 (Compelling Presence)
+5? (Decisive)
+5? (Level-Headed)
+5? (Mature)
+5? (Convictions)
+5? (Oddball telling them to stand down is somewhat unusual)
+5? (Socializer)
+?? ("The Gold" respect)
+?? ("The Mighty" This situation does imply that if they don't back down we will use violance)
+ ?? (from the situation. The fact that the Scion is here means that whatever their plans are they have gone very wrong)
= +95 +?? to our roll.

If someone can help me fix up our bonus I would be grateful. Our bonus to talking them down seems to be less then just beating down if we are double their power level. However they are unlikely to have as much skill in resisting our social attack and we have reputation on our side.

Assuming we try and knock them all down from surprise. I expect that we will have a ki sense check against their ki control to find them before they can power up. Or figure out we are after them.

For ki sense of finding them we should have. This is without pinging them.
+30 (exceptional ki sense)
+30 (flying to find them. Or more if we can instant transmission to them)
+20 (from Protector)
+5? (from Decisive)
+5? (from Level-Headed)
+5? (from Mature)
+5? (from Convictions)
+?? (from us being at a power level of a million and them suppressing)
= +100 +??
Assuming they only have talented ki control that would be a hard roll to fail.

@PoptartProdigy : How big is this Cell block? How quickly could we search the whole thing by eye flying around at one million assuming that we can't sense them?

Also what happened to our reputation "The Just."? I did not see it disappear or evolve at any point, but it is not on the character sheet.

Also you might want update the "To-do list" it is very out of date.

The sedative mist alone could already be construed as murder. These are literal aliens with completely different physiologies that they know next to nothing about, that they were planning to dose with a chemical that could do anything to the aliens.
I'm fairly sure the sedative mist was for us, and they were planning on killing the Scouts regardless.

Feel like pinging is superfluous if the other saiyan assailants have already (possibly) felt our power increase and that doing so would definitely alert them to the fact that a strong Masqued saiyan is inside the prison messing up their assassination attempts meaning some might leave early and escape our clutches. Running blind might open up ambush possibilities on both sides and we wouldn't lose precious seconds announcing our presence more while trying to track down the enemies'.

Ok. I know this is more than likely a stupid idea but I feel it should bementioned if only to explore all options. What if we recruit Meerak and the others who surrendered? Unlock their cells, send them hunting the infiltrators and either help them or go inform dad while they keep the assassins busy? I mean, assuming they are not instantly butchered.

Oh, and lets cut down on using MF for everything in the future.

How would they help? Assuming that the intruders are Saiyans planing on killing them they will just power up and quickly kill them. There is no way we can assume they would not be instantly butchered.

By the way, are the attackers masked? There was no surprise from the prisoners and we are the exception in how much of our base we can use as human. Plus the stronger saiyans should be more or less known which mrans the stronger scouts could presumably face the weakest infiltrators, maybe?

Can we memorise their ki signatures? I'd hate to charge off, only to come back and find someone moved the unconscious dudes.

Also, did we pass that deceit roll?

There was considerable surprise from the prisoners over the people trying to murder them. It's just that asking after their teammates took priority. The attackers were Masqued (as mentioned), but not Masqued.

Already did.
