Couldn't we change the pigment of these clothes ourself? It shouldn't take to much effort to make something out of random atoms that reflects light the way we want. For that matter, maybe a color wheal to check our options would be nice. Or maybe we can just straight up make new clothes out of Mamis ribons. We should be able to reweave them, or weave them if they are just one piece of meterial, now that we have nano-Grief.

Considering that she's asking Sabrina "It's alright that I'm doing this?" I think she's asking if it's okay that she's blowing school to be with Sabrina, not in terms of her obligation to the school but in terms of the demand she's making of Sabrina. She's basically asking Sabrina to give up the only time that she has to herself to instead spend it with her. It's not unlike the cliché of a girlfriend that can't handle their significant other ever being out with friends instead of being with them. It could come off as needy and controlling, and the sort of thing that could strain a relationship.

I was thinking about an earlier suggestion: Kazumi can copy magical effects, while we have very versatile magic. Maybe we can add to Kazumi's repertoire?

While it might be possible for Mami to make clothing, the ribbons disappear after a few minutes or hours depending on how much mana Mami puts into them when they're created. Kirika and possibly other magical girls can also dispel magic. While either option is hilarious, I doubt we need clothing that can suffer critical existence failure while we're wearing them.
