it cant go beyond 100 meters,
and we will need to control it manually to prevent it's grief made nature from influencing it causing it to do things we might not like.
 
My main issue with The Narrator vote is that it doesn't include the line some others did about how to phrase asking Mami to study her ribbons and our magic. I really want to see us do it with that "knight asking for a token of lady's favor" line.

I had that in an earlier version, but it was suggested that we should be less specific and let Brina choose her own phrasing.

I think that's going overboard.

We should ask her for a musket at some point. Then we can receive her weapon with honours.

I'm thinking if we grief up a Madrona, or just something to see with and manipulate utensils, we might end up going into a trance for too long, and Mami might have a panic attack wondering why we're not waking up.

Both use eyes; The Narrator's vote just attaches them to a Grief construct (clone) that we've already made once, so it'll be faster/easier to make.

The idea is that we would create a grief clone to do the cooking and serving. It would be the same as the chibi that we made on Saturday morning, just full size. We were able to see through the chibi's eyes and remotely control it and our own body simultaneously without any apparent difficulty. Seriously, this is a thing we've done before.

This way we don't have to get up and Mami doesn't wake up to find us unexpectedly gone. The maid bit is just for a little additional amusement; I already included the caveat that if Sabrina doesn't think it would go over well, she won't do it.

Really, the objections to Grief breakfast are:

Against Brina Clone: Feels witchy. Might wake up Mami. On the other hand, Mami's been getting used to Brina's Grief.

Against Grief Eye: We haven't tried it yet. It either works without being witchy, or it works, but becomes witchy. Then it's same as above, only probably much less witchy.

Upside to both is that Mami gets 100% Brinacuddles, 100% of the time.

Just getting up and making breakfast normally is not bad, but... it's not as cool either! :p
 
You know... a question that's occurred to me, if we're in a romantic mood after the revelation last night, there is another question to consider: What would Mami do if she woke up first?

You are trying to be Dr. Manhattan. Do not be Dr. Manhattan. He is not good at human relationships.

Here's the issue: His clones were doing non-romantic things and they were full clones, making Laurie feel like Dr. Manhattan wasn't giving her his attention. The solution is pretty straightforward: Keep the attention on Mami. First by making sure that we use it for romantic things like making breakfast in bed - we may be doing multiple things, but we're still clearly focused on Mami. Second, don't use full clones, so we're leaving our primary focus on snuggling. Even grief-clones would work, but chibis, scanners, and utility fog are even better.

I believe the point is that, no matter how good we are at multitasking, it's proper to stop everything else during romantic time. A symbol of how important she is to us or something like that, probably (I mostly understand that value system, although I don't share it).
