[x] Smile broadly. She's right, of course. If your attacks don't have fantastic names, why even bother? You might as well be one of those poor, sad people that don't name their attacks at all!
-[x] That said... hmm. 'Finale' should be reserved for a grander light attack, you think. You've only scratched the surface, here. You're thinking... 'Lux Aeterna"? 'Eternal Light' is appropriate, since the whole point of this attack is that it keeps going outside of your range...

[ ] "I like when you talk like that."
-[ ] Wait did you say that. Blush.

Am seriously considering this. We have to say something similar that's serious in the next few days or so according to Keikaku, and I don't know that we'll get a better chance to drop "hints" at it.

-[x] That said, 'Finale' isn't... This doesn't really match up, so far. Not to Tiro. 'Finale' should be reserved for something that does. You're thinking... 'Lux Aeterna"? 'Eternal Light' is appropriate, since the whole point of this attack is that it keeps going outside of your range...
-[x] continue vote in abeyance

We could directly and unfavorably compare this to Tiro if we reject the 'finale' name. Complain that this doesn't deserve the "finale" title.

Disperato Luce: Despairing Light. Refers to the source of the light, and what our enemies feel when it's pointed at them.
Or we could call it Hope instead of Despair, just to be silly.

"Ray of HOPE!"
"I'm BURNIIIIIING! THERE'S NOTHING HOPEFUL ABOUT THIS!!"

"Healing Shot!"
"Is that like a gun that heals instead of hurt- FUUUUUCK THAT HURTS A LOT!"

"BRINAKICK!"

It's midnight where I am, so I'm clocking out. That said, I don't think continuing the votes in abeyance is a good idea - they were part of a set that assumed failure here, which... didn't happen.

I'd recommend either trying out sight through grief, or helping Mami with her science. Will write up a plan in the morning.

I'm out in about twenty, but i can change stuff for a bit still. I can mumiscience if you want but idk how to brinascience

[x] Call the attack Sgòthan Sgrios

Means light of destruction in Scottish Gaelic according to google translate.

Eh, not surprised that worked in the slightest; Mami's theory is the one I've been assuming for quite a long time now.

Anyways, while it might need a name, we shouldn't go overboard. Save the imposing names for when we contribute building-sized lasers and railgun slugs to the ZA WARUDO-ing of Walpurgisnacht.

Love Sign 「Master Spark」

:V

How about we get around to making this thing usable, as in, we don't need to take cover and take eyes off our target before shooting, then pass the ball to Mami on what she wants to try next?

Mumiscience addon! Abeyance: CANCEL!

-[x] Um. That... You weren't expecting that to work, and the other stuff on your end was pretty much contingent on it failing. There was another thing... Maybe you should've asked back at the house. You'd been wondering about any old projects Mami might have had? With her ribbons? You had a couple ideas, but, well, she's had a lot of time and she's really smart, so she's probably tried them already, but maybe you could come up with something and you're really interested in how she's done what she has with her ribbons and what else she could do and maybe you could help you'd really like to do that and you don't mean to imply that she couldn't do it herself you just...
-[x] you're babbling again, aren't you.
-[x] blush.

I'll doublecheck this in nine ten hours? If it goes through it should be fine anyways.

We have lasers. There is only one course of action we must embark on now.

We must play Initial D soundtracks with a laser light show as the intro to every single witch fight.

We can now equip our Mobile Oppression Fortress with turbolasers and point defense laser cannons.

We just need automatization and set those lasers to fry incoming projectiles.

Then we'll be untouchable! Nobody will be able to come close to us!

... Except for Mami, of course.

Do we know how timestop handles lasers?
I'd guess our lasers would suffer timestop, since they're supposedly 'natural' phenomena, and are not restricted by our range.
