Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

If I may suggest something, I think if we went for that game you pitched just a little while ago, the one with the fencing, it would make for an interesting project for LucasArts America.

Nidhogg I think it was called?
Yeah, it's called Nidhogg. I don't disagree, but I just didn't want to mention it because it hasn't officially been accepted as a pitch yet.
Also, guys, I have some ideas for movies that we could, and should, go for this turn, but first, we should try and get Rock and Rule for distribution. It should not take that much from our films since it's an animated one, and it's surprisingly good at that (though it is somewhat mature).
I don't know about movies, but I started trying to compile a list of OTL shows that we could try distributing through LucasTV, so that's something else.

Fair enough. Though, if we manage to get it accepted, then it would have my vote.

Sounds cool. Want to share? We can talk about them through PM.

[X] Plan New Year Score
-[X]The Score: A Good Ole Heist Movie, you've always wanted to be in one. DC: ???
-[X]Helping out a Friend: So Mike has a problem. Well not a problem, more of a… non- nepotistic scheme. He wants to get his son into a low-level executive position, and he needs a contact. He's asked you. DC: 30
-[X]Lucasarts Japan: Sakaguchi and his cohorts in Japan have all but told you that there is a problem with the Console that you are all making. A Problem called, Nintendo, and their Famicom, or whatever the hell it was called. Something about licensing. DC: 20
-[X]Some Kids in America: Hideo Kojima, Jordan Mechiner and some other developers are trying to make their games… problem, they all have different ideas and they have to focus, and they asked you to take a look at the ideas they have, and well... help them narrow it down. DC: ???
--[X] Focus on Rescue on Fractalus
-[X]Importing Foreign Films: So… you may have a way to get some films showing in American Theaters. Maybe you can go to other foreign film industries and… well, ask to distribute their films. Sure many of those foreign film companies never expected an American company to distribute their films in the US… but maybe you can get money without producing them. (Linetail where you try to get films from, and if there are any specific films, line tail them below) DC: ???
--[X] Canada. Carrie brought to your attention some Canadian animated film called "Rock and Rule", an animated rock opera whose creators approached her a wild back for the rights to one of her songs for the film. Sounds like a fun concept, see if it can be a Lucasfilms release.
-[X]Carrie's Cravings: So Carrie, as you learned has some strange cravings, but most of the time it's normal. This is not one of those times. DC: ???
-[X]The Art of the Siblings: So Mary has proclaimed it was a silly time. And that meant you had to grab your costume. DC: 0
-[X]The Family Time: You need a night out with the family dammit! No more drama, no more work, just you and Carrie and the Kids!
-[X]Hanging out with the Friends: It's been far to long since you, John, and Robin hung out, so you will go out for some drinks and have some fun. DC: 45
-[X]A Charitable Heart: You want to invest your newfound wealth. Maybe even save some lives while you are at it. (Linetail what you wish to invest in below this action, and the amount of money you want to donate in)
--[X] $30 Million. You want to fund efforts to help in the conservation of the Pyrenean Ibex.
-[X]Pray: It had been a long time since you went to Mass. You wish for the Lord to give you strength. DC: ???
--[X] Pray for Gavin and his wife Susan that they're able to conceive and have a child.
-[X] Do auditions(Movies and TV Shows): You are going to go to some of the casting calls that are in the place where you can find work in. DC: 20(Possibility of only getting a commercial or TV show job, or extra work in a low-budget film)
-[X]Workout: A Healthy Mind and a Healthy Body are Key to having a good life, and you have been slacking as of late. Time to hit the workout and discipline, and perhaps, see things differently. DC: 30 Reward: You work out and feel better.

So we distribute The Score and get a nice heist film. Help out Mike and expand the family business. Deal with LucasArts and Nintendo shenanigans. As for what to do for the American branch, I really want to do Fractalus because it will be hugely innovative for 3d environments, fractal imagery, space combat, and lay the groundwork for Star Wars games. Besides that we can do other stuff I'm willing to add as a priority, but be warned I shall sleep soon so it will be a while before I add it. Lastly, distribute Rock and Rule since a lot of you seemed so fond of it.

Some nice family fluff with Carrie's cravings, sibling sillyness andfamily time. Hang out with friends since we'll have so few free time soon with George's birth coming up. For Charitable heart, help prevent the Ibex from being extinct thanks to recent inspiration from the Jurassic Park quest. Magoose mentioned that Bruce's brother and his wife are having trouble conceiving, so maybe help them with a prayer. Do auditions for one last TV role before we do paternity leave. Finally, work out so we can build foundation for gains with Conan.

Hello, I would like to know if someone is already working in a Transformers pitch because I have some ideas for the background and the characters

Yeah. He is married after all. Back when I disliked him, that was one of the things I could not criticize him on, as he's known for being a good family man.

Edit: Wait a moment... @Magoose, does Michael Eisner have any other child aside from the three from his wife?

Because, right now, his oldest child should be 13 at the latest

Correct me if i am wrong but

Wasn't Eric, the Mighty Ducks sportswriter born on the 19 of August 1960?

Breck 's article on Wikipedia has 24 Dec 1970 which would make him thirteen ITL. It is also the only dob of the children i could find on Wikipedia

also this Hocky record shows Anders with a dob of 6 of July 1978.

If I found the right person that would make him about the same age as Mary.

Michael Eisner met who would become his wife in 1964 and married her in 1967. So, once more, unless his child was born out of wedlock, he should be about 13 at the latest.

Now, Magoose entioned that perhaps the child is a prodigy like Mary,, but I just hope this does not mean we are putting him in the payroll. After all, the laws against Child Labor are there for a reason.

Unless he already graduated from High School at least.

No he just wants to make his dad proud. And try and find out why his dad likes Mary so much

Dammit obvious dumb on my fact checking.

Thanks.

I found several sites that seem to think that the impossible 1960 is Eric's correct age but none of them are what you could call good sources being low budget gossip sites.
So the thirteen year old is probably Breck

No he just wants to make his dad proud.

So no chance of the adorable image of the next generation of Lucasfilm terrorizing the world before graduation?

oh yeah voting
