    TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

    To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

    I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

    I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

    I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

    • So, I just had a thought and I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on it. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark was first published in 1981, so what if we purchase the rights to adapt it when it comes out and we create a precursor television series to Tales from the Crypt?

    This is the only thing I have a problem with... Wouldn´t be better to try to acquire Taxi Driver so that we can release it ASAP and increase our War Chest?

    Besides that @Magoose is there any way of using our newly acquired Writers Room to increase the quality of the scripts of Kung Fu Kid and The Playground?

    So my main opposition to The Olympian is this section which I believe is a major wrong choice for Bruce at this stage. At this point, Bruce's main priority and goal for the near future is Olympic prepwork and winning a gold medal. Working on production of Kung Fu Kid is something that entirely distracts from that because it's our first major production as a Producer, and it's something of an incredibly large scale as we need to film on-site in Hong Kong, cast a large group of actors especially authentic martial artists, and then develop the choreography for the movie in martial arts. Even if we're super fast, we'll get done presumably in May or June and hardly leave time for Olympics training. Not to mention there's the inherent risks and dangers of getting injured while filming the Kung Fu sequences and losing our Olympics spot. Kung Fu Kid is way too ambitious to film too short to the Olympics.

    For my personal film preference, after next turn I would prefer to film Five Dates, since it's a really simple and easy romance film that can be completed in one turn according to Magoose and it's at no cost of physical exertion since it's just Bruce and Carrie acting in the LA area, plus it gets both Bruce and Carrie a definitive hit in 1977 after Star Wars. Very low cost monetarily and in time spent. We do a month on that, then focus entirely on Olympic prep work and some Lucasfilms business. From there we start pre-production on Kung Fu Kid immediately after the Olympics ends and hopefully start filming late fall/winter.

    I would have acquired Taxi Driver, but I think Magoose said either in DMs or on the Quest that Taxi Driver acquisition is a Lucasfilms action not a personal one, and it was not shown on the list of Lucasfilms Unlimited Actions so I went for Iron Lung buying. Plus I think buying Iron Lung is a good thing since we'd be financially supporting our sister's dreams and family and help jumpstart her return to Hollywood as a titan of Lucasfilms.
