@BrainInAJar I sympathize with you, but I think the QMs mentioned that they're kinda tired of Vanessa/don't know what to do with her which is why most plans are leaving her out.

As I recall, @Arathnorn said he'd be willing to work with her.

Oh, and straight from the Discord...

The worst thing that's gonna happen if you take vanessa is that she's kinda in the background because we don't have much to do with her.

It's not like a national action where if she gets an interlude she's the focus of the whole thing, most of the planning committee just isn't sparking joy off her at the moment.

Just one major issue.

While I understand you prefer this narrativly I don't see how it can produce any mechanical benefits at this time.

If possible could you switch to Lovemuffin? They currently are at negative 10 loyalty and have 3 large malices against us. If we could get them reduced in anyway it would be a help.

That being said...

[X] Plan: Long Overdue
Lovemuffin's biggest issue as a hero unit is their pride, both in that it makes them not respect Doofenshmirtz, but also in that they feel they need to be personally doing something important. That's the biggest thing getting in their way, and I say that looking right at their abysmal stats. Therapy might help with that, but this kind of mad scientist pride seems to be a pretty heavily seated part of their character, not something they're just going to get over, and therapy isn't a "do what the Questers want" button.

A stronger argument, from my point of view, is @MrHobbit 's stance of therapy as a way to get them to accept Von Drakes teaching action. She's someone that it could genuinely benefit many of them to learn from, both as a source of knowledge and an example, and I do think that's an instance of their pride getting in the way of something good for them that they might even enjoy, rather than an example of pride as a character trait. I considered it, weighed what I wanted to see, and ultimately decided that I'd rather put him on Doof. I'm genuinely not super invested or interested in Lovemuffin as characters (indeed, only a few of them even have one), and I don't think Technor will be able to work through a group as well as he does an individual; group therapy might work for some of them, but it's not a one size fits all approach. I'm not opposed to doing it at some point, but I'd prefer this action.

Which Zodiac was this, out of curiosity? The standard greek one, the Chinese one, or the Gravity Falls one?

Greek and Chinese, hence, Zodiac with an s. For inclusivity's sake, both were included - Xanatos, as ever, is a businessman. Nobody would have any reason to know the Gravity Falls Zodiac, but if he had known, Xanatos probably would have included it for A) more diversity of thought and B)incidental protection against Bill. :p

[X] Plan: Foundations of Stone

...what can I say, I like underdogs :V

He probably would have. I assumed the zodiacs meant all the animals of the zodiac, but I guess that makes sense.

The trick is probably to make them think it's a collaboration between relative equals honestly. They want to feel important, they want to be doing stuff. As long as they're convinced their actions are meaningfully contributing to the cause(TM) I think they'll be fine. Sadly this makes them working with Juumba a bit risky 'cause he can't help but insult anyone within the radius of the local solar system.

[X] Plan: Long Overdue

My, what successful activism! Now that the single issue I had was addressed when I brought attention to it, I'm totally fine with this plan. That was easy.

As an inator submission...

The Live in Fame or Die in Flame-inator: Drawing on the distilled essence of luck (and possibly the Toonforce), this inator pushes those affected by it to perform beyond their limits, succeeding in the face of the most terrible odds...or backfiring and failing when failure should have been otherwise all but impossible. Mechanically, in every situation that would normally require rolling dice, flip a coin. On heads, the roll is 100. On tails, the roll is 1.

This results in a 50% of critical failure for any roll...but also a 50% of rolling a 100 (with a 25% chance of a 101, 12.5% chance of 201, or 12.5% chance of 300+ with accounting for explosions).

"Alright, boss, I've set up the magical defense, just like you asked!"

"All you did was duct tape fireworks to all the entrances."

"I don't see the issue?"

Okay, if we're letting Vanessa come with us to the quest this turn, we really should assign her to Mirage next turn. And also, find a particularly awesome task for Mirage to take.

Edit: actually, we could assign Vanessa to Mirage THIS turn and put Mirage on Spy On Employees. Nobody's gonna question Vanessa going around, and two pairs of eyes are better than one.

We should lead by asking Xanatos "are all prophecies self-fulfilling? Wouldn't want to perpetuate the self fulfillment and everything."

Really pique his interest.
