I'm willing to vote for anyone, that actually makes the best use of Kakara's sight power, and actually gets her do be proactive in dealing with threats and be a hero instead of those apathetic or useless Gods dragon ball has, also training her ghost abilities is nice.

But we are not abandoning him, just getting info on the threats around the galaxy to plan better, it gives more time on what strategy, tactics to use, gives us a timetable on what crisis to tackle first. Horatio isn't hopping to another host or galaxy just yet. Even if we plan on moving, it would have to be done eventually, since being able to juggle multiple problems by moving around the galaxy, is more effective than being stuck in one part of the galaxy until, the crisis is over.
Do you know anything about the female assassin?
Do you know why android 13 appear in Kakara's vision, despite the two visions not being connected to Tamar's invasion and Namek's invasion?

Because "Ask Future Kakara How To Win" feels super-meta-y and unlikely to gain traction with Poptart. It comes across as basically trying to ask Poptart how to "win the game".

Well, for a start, we can't actually talk to the future - our "meeting" with Future Kakara involved a very careful setup on her end which culminated in speaking into an empty room, IIUC. Anyone in the future not expecting to have a very particular conversation with us is not going to be able to tell us how to do anything, at least not directly.

We can't talk to our future self, but we can listen to future Kakara's echo, multiverse theory and stuff, presumably she left her 'echoes' during different time periods.
We really need to find a way for Kakara to do the echo thing.
I really want to know how the galaxy adapts to threats like Dazarel, how powerful the galactic patrol truly is.
Here's a idea, we can use a proxy to control the criminal underworld, and drive the enemy on a wild goose chase by giving , outdated information, after finding a way to change Kakara's ki signature, and blocking Kakara's seer presence like Dandeer did to herself.

Wait a moment, If Future Kakara was talking to thin air, how did she know that past Kakara would ask about the crown thing?
I forgot to mention why scrying for crisis is important, back in Zebul, the refugees genocided the local Arcosians, so if Kakara saw something horrible, then she could default back to extra stops and put a end to the threat. Its in her nature as a protector.

I'm actually hoping to ask Future Kakara how to Not Lose - I don't think we can (or on some level should) have the juice to ask her how to win.
I think Poptart can limit us well enough without relying on us to hold back. But this is part of the social contract that can only benefit from being made explicit.

IIRC, most of the votes are in favor of making it better, or at least learning to use our incredibly rare, potentially OP power better.
Y'know, instead of trying to learn it from base principles without actually knowing the principles when we have a teacher on hand who is motivated to help us to the best of his (considerable) ability.
Also, said teacher is an adorable shoulder dragon we can Diplomance into being a maybe-not-so-garbage person, in the grand history of our people.

I have no problem with you trying to game things, and it's fairly pointless to argue what I will let you do. I know my players; I know what y'all are likely to try. If I don't explicitly rule against the possibility of some course of action on metafictional grounds, I am prepared to write it.
What you may all productively debate is whether or not a course of action is likely to result in success. As for contacting Future Kakara in particular, it's quite frankly possible that she no longer exists. Her getting in contact with you was not in her own timeline, after all, so already, things are different. More pointedly, however, from what she said, it took a lot of time and fiddly effort to set up a two-way exchange like that, especially given that, according to Future Kakara, it was a matter of using futuresight to know the best moment and some bizarre, counterfactual pastsight to know what Past Kakara Except Only the Past If Future Kakara Actually Does the Thing Which Is Not How Sight Normally Works would actually ask or respond with. Kakara is uncertain that it's something she can really count on future hers judging a worthy investment of effort. You are, of course, welcome to confirm or deny that possibility using AP.

When Poptart said it'd cost exactly 1AP to try switching hosts, I took that as metafictional evidence that we can't leave yet. So I've stopped pushing for that.
What about "near-future Kakaras who've just found things which need fixing, especially if they did so by spending Psi-power in ways we didn't"? Is that a good subject to investigate?
Treating it as a Psychic Talent, obviously. She knows she has across-the-board-spectacular sensory abilities; she should have the suspicion that the rules are a little different for her. (Citation: "unexpectedly good at ki telepathy and learning the Sight", "unprecedented ki sense in multiple ways", and "has psionic mindreading despite Kanassan Sight normally precluding that".)
I'd be genuinely surprised if she doesn't even try that.

OOC, I'm basically asking for assurance that no-one we (would) care about is going to die specifically because we didn't know they were in trouble. Not having the resources to help out is a seperate issue; I just don't want to hear a "quest failed on account of not starting it in time."
I've had some experience with hearing that, and it is not fun.

...hm. Now that question puts me in a rather difficult spot. To be perfectly honest, there are some things that are on timers, but I don't currently intend to kill anybody if you don't immediately get up and start turning over every rock in order to clear your plate. People Kakara would or does care about dying is the sort of thing that would trigger an involuntary vision, anyway.
