Seems like kind of a non-sequitur in this situation, where we'll be talking about Rionna with Nadia. I don't like it.

The next time we discuss major global power blocs with Nadia, we can ask for a history lesson.

Idk, on the contrary, it would seem to me like an enemy unexpectedly arriving from the outside world would drive interest in that world, and wanting to know about what happened with past organizations, well... We're a present one, really.

Trying to clean up the 'what to do' part to read better:

[X] Ask for a few minutes to relax.
-[X] Tea?

[X] Mami:
-[X] Cuddles. Snuggles.
--[X] Brinapilot: If you want to doze off a few minutes, let it happen.

-[X] Ask her to check Riona's flask.

[X] Kirika:
-[X] Ask for extra Enchantments:
--[X] Handcuffs, something you can use on active enemy meguca.
---[X] Including one for Riona, for when she's woken up.
--[X] Bracelets you (all?) could wear for protection.

[X] Tell the Kures what happened.
-[X] Get opinions on Riona and on the repercussions of taking her prisoner.

[X] Discuss what to do.
-[X] Propose:
--[X] Today:
---[X] Informing meguca neighbors and Yuki about what happened.
---[X] Arrange prison transfer with Yuki, going over details about Riona's power.
--[X] Tomorrow:
---[X] Informing Nadia, Niko, and everyone else.
---[X] Bringing Rionna to Yuki's prison.

-[X] Follow consensus.

[X] Sayaka:
-[X] Congratulate your Kouhai on a job well done.
-[X] Thank her for comforting you.

[X] Thank everyone.

Also, is there a reason to not have an AM enchant on Riona's Soul Gem and one on her body? It's kind of paranoid, but is there a reason not to?

When it comes to the plentiful security issues for keeping Rionna prisoner with Yuki, there's a really damned simple solution -- keep Rionna de-gemmed.

No.

This is not humane. And we don't need to.

We can put Rionna, double Anti-Magicked (Soul and Body) in a prison where the warden doesn't only get total control over the surroundings, but she also seems to be a munchkin, who I trust to take a lot more precautions with Riona's imprisonment than we could think of right now.

Riona will be with no magic twice over and under complete surveillance, in a prison where the walls are hard enough we can't easily punch through them with our Grief -we needed to use our basically 2d wings' edges back then.

There's no reason to start a freezer, and we've said time and time again we don't want to go down that road.

We want to keep our prisoners in humane conditions, and we can. It's not necessary to keep Riona in a coma once she's Antimagicked and under Yuki's watch.

If Yuki, knowing her own abilites, feels that's too dangerous still, then we might have to keep Riona on ice. Otherwise, we can keep our morals straight and treat our prisoner humanely.

I'm kind of surprised I'd need to discuss the issues with this with you. You've personally gone in-depth into the issues with permanently keeping people gemmed, and Rionna isn't an exception.

Keeping Rionna temporarily de-gemmed until we can verify the status of her shades and until appropriate safety precautions can be taken is fine. Doing it permanently as a safety precaution really isn't.

Again, not permanently -- until we have proper facilities for rehabilitation. I've stated that directly before, so kindly stop misrepresenting my position.

Those will also protect us from any allies that aren't available for Kirika to write exceptions for, such as Sakura, Rin, and Yuma.
Hm. Hadn't thought about that.

What problems could that bring? In case we need an ally to use magic on us, we'd have to take off the bracelet (or not be wearing it already at that moment), and put it back on if we need it afterwards.

... So I guess it would stop new allies from casting buffs on us, and make it a hassle to receive magical aid in pitched situations.

So... can we wear the thing normally, and in case of a battle, decide whether it'd be safer to wear it or not? Or just not wear it normall, and only use it when we feel it'd be necessary?

...Wouldn't discussing security issues with Yuki be the first step towards getting proper facilities?

I interpreted you arguing against such a discussion as you being against getting proper facilities set up because "gemming is sufficient". My apologies.

The issue is that unless we have someone on hand to work with rehabilitation, all we're doing is locking her in a box with fuck all to do. That's fucking inhumane.

It's perfectly acceptable to do whatever the fuck we want to Riona. Because Riona is a murderer, who has declared by her actions that no rights exist. But she can only strip herself of rights, not others. Therefore, by dint of being a murderer, she has given up all of her natural rights.

Anything we decide to not do to Riona is because we can't stomach it or because it's less practical. Certain things I absolutely think Sabrina shouldn't be able to stomach, but keeping Riona gem'd isn't one of them.

State of nature be fuck'd yo.

Yuki's rooms can be pretty luxurious while being totally secure. Give her English language tv and magazines and shit.

Or are you arguing that Airi should be gemmed too, for her own sake?

Airi isn't even a prisoner. She's not free to go but she's also not a prisoner per se*, we dgaf what she's up to with her time because we don't think she's an imminent threat to the lives of others.

Rionna? If she got access to her magic then based on what she has said I guarantee the first thing she'd do would be to shade everyone in the same room.

* -- more of a mental detainment than a cell block inmate, is what I'm saying.
