Honestly I'm kind of inclined to just stick by Mami for now. We should take the time to properly appreciate her surprise, and Sayaka is a big girl and doesn't need her senpai to accompany her to playdates.

We could send Sayaka on her own; with her Clear Seed, she can cleanse Kyouko and Yuma just as well as we could. Just throw the bling (and the Seed she got earlier! Don't forget!) to pay Kyouko with at her, and that's that.
That way we can hang out with Mami. Who seems to want to hang out.
An option if we really need to speak with Kyouko right now, would be to ask Homura to stay with Mami... but no, then Madoka wouldn't have any gucas close by in case or random O&K attack.
... Really, unless we do some cloning with Mami ribbons, we kind of need to stick with Mami right now.

I feel like I should chime in here.
Our method to apply forces evenly to every part of our body is by saturating it with grief and pushing each individual particle composing us.
This would include the particles composing the inside of our Soul Gem.
I see covering each individual particle of our Soul Gem with grief as a potentially witchingly-bad move.
We should keep our acceleration low enough that we do not need to fill our shiny rock with grief to protect it.

Going to Sayaka's training isn't about Sayaka anymore, it's about cleansing Kyouko, Yuma and their Grief Seeds.
Well, at first. Today it's also about that unfinished conversation with Kyouko.
First, Kyouko doesn't want to use a Clear Seed. Second, Sayaka's Clear Seed can't cleanse Kyouko's Grief Seed. Third, Kyouko expects us to go today for that talk.
But most important of all, Kasamino doesn't take that much time. Timewise, Sayaka's training doesn't take all evening and even then we don't even have to be all the time of the training itself, just arrive by the ending for cleanses, payment (if we don't give the payment to Sayaka) and talks.
We should have enough time to be with Mami and still have time to go to Kyouko's place.

There's a surprising amount of evidence from an attentive outsider/school administrator's point of view that Mami isn't doing super great, and particularly the truancy officer who sees people arriving/leaving.
Her parents died, so she lives alone, so she doesn't have the family support that is normally assumed.
She quit her club, and distanced herself from any friends there.
She was able to easily adjust her lunches to eat with her juniors and Sabrina. This implies she likely ate her lunches "alone" (as in, nearby others but no dedicated group). This implies she has no close friends in her grade at all.
She arrived to school by herself, and left school by herself. Most importantly, for short periods of time this might not have been true if Kyoko was meeting her when she got out of school. The change in behavior here is the important bit, as the truancy officer would be the best positioned adult to have actually noticed, strangely enough.
So it's known she lives alone, has no close friends, leaves school immediately despite having no open work obligation, and has abandoned former interests (archery club). I have no doubt that some of the school staff are worried about her, but Japanese culture doesn't really permit them to butt in too much, particularly when her grades have been as solid as they have been. Most they could do is oblique offers of support that Mami couldn't take them up on due to the whole Magic is Secret thing.
Still, it's good of the officer to basically be going "I don't care if she's some sort of foreign delinquent or whatever, I'm just happy it looks like that Girl finally has someone to rely on and support her" and be worried enough to speak up to Sabrina (why I think he might have seen at least one instance of the Alone Mami -> Mami with Kouhai -> Alone Mami cycle).
Anyway, enough randomly rambling on a side character. I'll go back to lurking...
