Sayaka needs an API, or some other form of operational manual.
"How to Sayaka, a Multiversal Guidebook. Step one: Never say the phrase 'I'm such an id-'"

THWACK!

"Ow!"

"What part of 'never say' didn't you get, Sayaka?"

"... The 'never say' part."

"Hm."

"Whatever. I wanna get to the cool stuff. Let's see..."

*Skips pages*

"There's nothing cool in here! What's all this shit about wasting wishes and crushes and... and... there's nothing useful in this guide, it's all about not making dumb mistakes!"

*Hands Sayaka a pen*

"Yeah actually, you are literally the coolest, non-composite Sayaka ever, so we're kind of breaking new ground... I was hoping you could send a message to all the others Sayakas out there."

"... Uh."

*Reverently takes pen*

*Finds lots of empty pages on Sayaka Multiverse Guidebook*

*Writes*

*Leans over shoulder*

"'I'm da best'... Really? I mean, really?"

*Shrugs*

"Best of all possible Sayakas, you said it! Hey, does that mean this is the best of all possible worlds?"

*Opens mouth*

*Hugs Sabrina*

"Yes."

*Closes mouth*

*Hugs Mami*

Now that nothing's currently on fire, there's some stuff that came up in Magia Record recently that might be relevant to us. Professional meguca enhancer Mitama got a backstory to go with her new playable status, and it turns out that aforesaid enhancing isn't her wish magic. In fact, her wish was to become a person who could destroy the city, and her wish magic lets her weaken meguca. She just had a change of heart and started deliberately using her powers wrong to get the opposite result. Because apparently that's a thing you can do. Weird as it is, she's effective enough at using this inversion thingy of her wish magic that she can keep herself in grief seeds without actually fighting witches, so it seems like the sort of thing we should figure out how to exploit.

"Why don't you just put the whole Madoka in a bottle, Homura?" :V
You talk like she hasn't already tried.

Clearly she needs to use Umika's powers to read her own mind and generate a reference so she doesn't have to bother remembering all her many powers.

Whaddya mean she can solve problems without using someone's copied powers to do it?

Sabrina: *Controls Grief*
Sabrina: *Checks above, ponders*
Sabrina: *Controls not-Grief*

Sabrina: *Impersonates Galadriel* "All shall love me and despair!"
:p

If Sayaka had an action sidekick to dramatically yell out combos to / with, everything would be fine! Or, move up from birds, and become a dog owner. The best dog. Lassie. The dog that tells people how to respond in emergencies.

@Faraway-R - Very Classy! (But somehow does not equal "here to help!)

I think rikalous is on to a train of thought that matches one possible future for Homura. I want her to grow into a future, and just as Mami has, find the full meanings of her magic.

It can be done Oldskool.

She has airstep. Homura just learned her first isolated barrier. Therefore, this next example is pretty much 100% smile for her.

It fits her life plan, IMHO. And I am wicked.

It should be noted that she does this by using her magic and just reversing the direction, essentially, rather than "literally doing the opposite of what her magic's meant to do."

The equivalent for Sabrina would be releasing Grief into the remit of others - aka, going crazy evil and witching people intentionally.

It shouldn't be surprising that using Sabrina's magic in the opposite direction we have been leads to nothing good, since we've been trying to use it as best we can the whole time.

Alternatively, Sabrina learns how to control Hope, gains a new costume, a bow, infinitely long hair and slays Dedolere via time shenanigans. Fifty-fifty chance, I'd say.

@Firnagzen, A question: Do we see the enchantment fade in any way as it wears off?

[X] Help Homura test her enchantment.
-[X] Try and get her to pick up and hold you properly.
-[X] Ask about her protecting Soul Gems with it

[X] Test enchanted Grief.
-[X] Use the same enchanted Grief to make different things.
-[X] Do you need to decide what you want to build before enchanting Grief, or not?
-[X] While testing, with enchantment...
--[X] Repair Kuroki's phone. Check it afterwards.
--[X] Make a full-sized Brina clone.
---[X] Give Mami double hugs.
---[X] Let Mami examine clone for her own research?
-[X] Chibi Brina: Try...
--[X] Moving in four dimensions. And observing what's out there.
--[X] Mapping the 4d shape of your soul gem.
--[X] Leaving your range.

[X] Call Hijiri
-[X] Ask how she's doing.
--[X] Grief levels?
--[X] Anything she wants to talk about?
-[X] Offer an update on Anri. She's safe, is detained humanely, and we did speak with her and hear what she had to say.
--[X] You'd like to talk more on that, if she's willing, but telepathy is not a secure form of communication.

[X] Look up how to buy those trackers.

Not super comfortable with calling Kirika about the book just yet. There's too much we don't know. Removing that block out of personal preference.

As far as ordering those trackers, there's a significant issue: Not only have we not talked to O&K about the deal or negotiated it with them after discussing the specific among ourselves yet, but we also have no electronic money.

Also, I think it's extremely important to be complete with the votes notes on talking to Hijiri. I don't want to let something slip by because we thought it was obvious and over-condensed that part of the vote again. Also moved it a little earlier.

Just to check/be certain, we are planning to look into Tsubaki after we finish the call with Hijiri today, right?

That pending,

[x] The Phoenixian

[Х] The Graecian
[X] The Phoenixian
( I wonder when people'll start noticing inconsistencies in my votes with the general tally.)

Insufficiently strong opinions on any items to disagree with any votes over any others, and I'm too busy to really think hard about them. Consider me fine with any of them.

[X] The Phoenixian

Not sure why we're delaying the Tsubaki telepathy to tomorrow, though. It's just telepathy: not exactly a huge time investment. We could telepathy now, and plan a visit for tomorrow if necessary.

I really don't want to risk her witching out more than necessary. We have no idea at what point exactly she witches out: for all we know, it could be tomorrow. Unlikely, but definitely a possibility. And from what we know of her, she definitely deserves better. Also, practically speaking, she's a huge asset, really. She's an adult bleeding heart guca, and her Wish was to kill witches. She should be amazing against Walpurgisnacht. Sayaka can also copy her powers to be similarly OP against Witches. We can also have Sayaka copy Suzune's power... Suzune's power is copying the powers of dead witches. I don't know what the heck Sayaka and Suzune would be able to get from a dead Walpy, but I sure as hell want to find out.

The main issue with dealing with Tsubaki ASAP is that Riona is scheduled to arrive in Mitakihara tommorow or the day after, and we really need to be in town to greet her when she does. I'd be cool with contacting her with telepathy, but I'd really prefer the actual visiting not happen until the Riona thing settles down - so Friday, at the soonest.

Well, even if we telepathy now, that doesn't mean we have to visit tomorrow. The only reason we'd have to visit tomorrow is if there was some sort of emergency over there, like Tsubaki witching out. In which case, um, we probably should take action.

Besides, even if there is an urgent need for cleansing, we could just send Sayaka over there with a Clear Seed. Sayaka has flight, doesn't she? In fact, maybe we can just send a Sayaka clone over there with a Clear Seed, if we really want everyone to be present for Riona.
