Ah, but there's no confirmed source for that one.

For real for real we only have Madoka's birthday, which coincides with PMMM's airing or something.

Maybe Firn will have it be June 5, but we need to actually ask if we want to know.

I do, strongly, expect us to make Sayaka think, research, choose and support her decision on what she wants from O&K. That needs time, and ultimately she will be a better person for doing that work. A Hero of Justice is normally concerned with the practical philosophy of enforcement, so this is her chance.
We should have that talk with her now. Our best community answer will result after this is done, and we need to stop stumbling now (before the prison population goes up again!)

Willpower figures in the magic business. Help! It's what we do. Creating a portable item that lets one of us level willpower, without magic use, is the kind of hax we need. Sayaka, and then later any of our girls who don't have Veteran Tier need to gain level fast to stabilize us. But we don't want to base our civilization on war and witch hunts. Training is one way to get our town stronger. Make the item a game, and training will be automatic. Level up our newbs, and safety is everybody's job.


[] Enchantment of an object to attract Grief, and testing the capacity to keep some when outside our range. Grief kinesis as a 'magic,' alone.

I would prefer not to question this directly. Let us work on establishing or removing support, and get our allies committed to convincing us of their views. We need to get to a general solution anyway. Prisoners are a 'thing' in Mitakihara, so it is our job to do it best.

At least until we've actually spent five minutes around them to assess exactly how likely they are to kick over the jenga tower of tetris blocks that is our friend circle. You don't put the victims in the judge/jury seat, you get an impartial third party. All the better if they're also a trained psychiatrist or some equivalent, the actual adults we should be involving in the meguca-secret before anyone else.

Yeah, a trusted non-guca adjudicator or other professional to lend aid is one thing, and a somewhat interesting idea in general, but I think it's a good point that "the damaged party is that non-guca adjudicator" is a pretty bad method to do that.

My standing sort-of plan has been to ask Homura what she intends to do after May 1. And then subtly point out that having Oriko around on our side would make Madoka a fucklot safer in an evironment where Homu doesn't know what's coming.

But uh... I have also had long-standing doubts about that plan. It's powerful AF. I'm just... Im not sure about it, yknow?

You are not on target?

My structure implied this, but let me emphasize: we are not going to finalize an action plan for O&K in my concept. We SHOULD get Sayaka to form her opinion. The current plan might continue ATM.

We NEED to get those therapists in the works. Not mentioned in your vote yet. I think you should mod your vote to begin that process, if you agree. That is a lead time item, and we are already late.

Involving the Miki's is on a HORIZON, not today. But we need to explore the idea. Right now, they ONLY accept Japan, and perhaps the "Rules of Nature" as arbiters of criminal justice. Normal. We are creating the newest option. If they do not participate in that, where is our justice any use at all? If only one person recognizes it, Justice doesn't go very far. Plenty of societies have more than one court system.

My course does not say "make them the judge." I think you have mis-understood. We must at some point make them part of our community. We need to propose and discuss how to bring them onboard.

Further, I never did say our final system of justice would be exactly like the courts of the nation states we ourselves use. Kyuubey representing both parties, arguing against itself might be fun (Make the Fic!) but a style of justice with less emphasis on the State is likely. No lawyers. Perhaps a weaker arbitrator. The victim, or their closest relatives might participate directly.

Further, our continuity strongly requires Sabrina is not a fan of 'punishment' alone. She wants a solution. Revenge is weakness, not a strength. Having Sayaka formally make some choice will let the two debate. In the end, Sayaka will overcome revenge, and propose something else. If she can, maybe her parents could?

The IC debate is what we want to have as an event. How else will we have the characters form consensus?

Oriko doesn't have precog anymore, and if she did, Homura wouldn't currently trust her not to secretly keikaku Madoka's death with it. So... I don't think that'll work, since I think Homura will reject the premise of-

It's gonna be difficult enough for Homura to contemplate the idea of an adult being someone who should be a part of something; if we don't specify the Mikis, who are both Sayaka's parents (and is Homu feeling weird about being on the same side as her?) and the other victims of Oriko's crime, I don't think she will even entertain the idea.

Homu be like "it's a meguca thing. Only meguca have right to get involved" or somehing to that effect. The Mikis are the adults we can claim have a right to be involved here.
