- Explain the situation accurately and in a neutral tone due to our own wishes to reform Oriko being at odds somewhat with Homura and Sayaka's wishes.
-IE (summary/example/don't use this as a direct quote ppl) Oriko, as a side effect of her powers, got some misguided notions on how to save the world - she crossed a line when she tried to burn Sayaka's house down. So we tracked her down and, for lack of a better term, arrested her. She's on probation now.

Hmm. I'm not really sure about this, so this is a genuine question:
What about asking Kures how they want to be introduced and what they are comfortable with being revealed about them?

My first instinct is to give her the cliff notes version without giving away details anyone could find too personal.

@Onmur , I don't really like us jumping to push Sakura and Rin about money-making and other "new purpose for you guys" stuff before Yuki has even had a chance to talk to them. We just had another try at talking them to, Yuki made an offer after hearing that, why the rush here?

Better to focus on the immediate bit about this scene, and then maybe the enchantment practice (where we can poke Homura for a timestop talk at the end if we want to discuss her timeloop-concerns separately) and then after the nice stuff be a buzzkill by bringing up the house arrest issue again. I don't remember if we've even told Homura yet about Mami's city-wide ribbon grid (seems like that should've gotten a rise out of Homura), but considering we can directly contrast that against our original (already successful) tracking of Oriko, and the good behaviour they've shown thus far? I mean.... yeah, Oriko has played the long game before (with attacking right after a successful Walmart Fight) but its something and noones had closer contact with Clear Seeds to rethink whether anything like UKG is remotely inevitable.

We did say we'd offer ideas, and Rin agreed, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't want to wait until they leave and then re-contact them by telepathy. Would rather share while they're here.

We did share the Ribbon Grid with Homura. I'm thinking asking Mami to use enchantment practice to develop a way to track O&K that would let Homura check on them anytime. Just connecting them by Ribbons as she did with Anri wouldn't be good enough, since that would pull O&K into timestop unless Homura or Mami manually disconnected the Ribbons everytime.

I think we got the Homura angle mostly covered there. It's Sayaka that worries me, really. She has legit grievances and she's Sayaka.

@Onmur I think you're verging on cutting out a bit too much at the start with informing Yuki.

Personally, I think the idea here would be better put as "Some things are Oriko and Kirika's to tell for themselves but you can give an abridged version of your history with them. (And also add in her occasionally cooperation since our fight is likely also relevant.) Though really, I'm more inclined phrase that part of the vote it so as to decide what to omit than what to add, for reasons relating to the next paragraph.

A probably pretty important thing that occurs to me for Yuki interest here is that we're signing a mutual defense pact and as such she's well within her rights to wonder how these play into it. I've kind of said that already but more relevantly is that if they're prisoners or likely to break out and cause trouble --- which they are in the first case and there is reason to think they are in the second --- then by signing that treaty it has become her problem. Which I feel is another point towards being as complete as possible.

As a lesser nitpick, I'm also not too keen on using the term "befriending" to Yuki given her relationship with magical girl shows. It'd be fun for someone like Mami who honestly enjoys the shows, but it might be a bit uncomfortable here.
 
By the way, while I think the 'arm and a leg' thing is funny OOC, it's something I'd rather we didn't bring up IC. At all. Not for a very long time, I think (however long it'd take for Sayaka to look back and laugh).

It would make light of Oriko's crime and Sayaka's loss.

Yuki's not even actually a friend of ours, she's just someone who makes herself amiable so people will like her.

We've know her for all of an hour, two?
