Alternatively/additionally, some VERY SPECIFIC bits and pieces of Earthly media got saved, mostly by happy coincidence, when the Exiles ran for the ships. Namely, whatever happened to be in the Downloads folder of a few of the Briefs' computers.

We're making a damn spiritbomb, splitting power doesn't matter because WE'RE GOING TO BE POWERED BY EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING PART OF THE PLANET WE'RE ON.

Fuck, I think we could be at PL1 and it wouldn't make a difference.

I mean, how knows, it might be possible to simply use past sight to attend university courses from Earth to work on reconstructing our species technical knowledge. Or not. Either way, it should be helpful to know.

Not to mention that if the dragon somehow notices us despite the sorcerers covering us and the clone making it so he thinks he knows where we are, an attack from the dragon would not actually kill us because we would either a) have the clone running interference, b) dispel the clone for the extra power level or c) the clone would become the original if the base body bites the dust. It not only would prevent Dazarel from killing our severely wounded father, the severely wounded Vegetan patriarch and our grandma who currently has an empty tank of energy but it should also be safer for us overall.
 
You know, this would be easier if we could actually get some input on what is the objection to the clone plan rather than just get the feel the grass votes. I mean, I think it is the sorcerer bit that has people rattled but since we are getting almost not comments about it...

Which is odd, because the worst-case scenario there is that Dandeer sneers at our negligible-PL clone, refuses to help and we just dispel it to no gain or loss.

Also without the clone, one of the other SSJs is probably going to die, possibly more than one.

Actually I'm fine with the sorcerer part, I'm just concerned that the giant golden monkey us running around could cause a problem with making the Spirit Bomb, either because of the split concentration or the split ki somehow making it so Kakara can't focus properly on what she needs to and thus ends up just wasting her time.

Deathbybunnies' argument about just popping the clone once the message is delivered would help to absolve those fears somewhat, but then I feel we should be having just a normal sized clone do it as opposed to a giant monkey, or even better have Maya do it, because I feel like the Dazreal is going to notice both another giant monkey appearing and it then disappearing. And then he is going to feel like he should probably look into that.

Neither of those things are possible. Multiform explicitly does not split attention by creating more minds, and the Spirit bomb clone can't use the SSJ boost anyway. Meanwhile, the other GOs are nearly dead.

There's no concentration split, however. However, the possibility that being in multiform might interfere is valid, if unsubstantiated.

That is good for the former, I am a bit too used to Kakara talking to her clones mind to mind and was having some difficulty remembering if that was natural to it or just her using her telepathy, but in regards to the latter I was more thinking along the lines of her ki being in two different places making it harder to feel the grass.

Though this does handle the concern about the disappearing ape, not sure how I misread that myself now that you say that.

We don't split concentration when using multiform. Each clone has their own mind. The split ki shound't bother us either since it is based on ki sensing and since it is finding our ki on all around us around the planet, a clone shouldn't bother us that much. Besides, when we first went to Gohan to ask about the bomb, he helped us get into the mindframe needed to sense the ki and having 2 clones running around didn't affect that.

Furthermore, deathbybunnies point was not that we would pop the clone when the message is delivered. It was that, if we need the extra PL to deliver the spirit bomb after forming or if we needed the extra PL to defend ourselves if the dragon attacking us, we can dispel the clone instantly and get the PL back. We are also only making 1 clone, to help the other royals distract the dragon. Asking the sorcerers to help hide our ki wouldn't distract us because 1) we are only sending a message, not entering an argument with them about the logistics involved and 2) the clone fighting the dragon can handle that.

This is starting to feel like the "inform the scouts about the nukes" discussion.
