Since I didn't see anyone else comment on it: Sayaka badassness up! It's not just the confidence or the powerset, either - She's getting better at remembering her options when she's presented with a problem, and on top of that she's starting to develop an instinct of going for the power rolodex at the slightest hint of trouble. Good to see!

They're not in canon as far as I'm aware. All we know is that they're the survivors of a group that had one of their members killed by a witch and are essentially refugees looking for a safe place to settle.

I'm doing it like this just because this is a question about Homura and other timelines. I don't really agree with the way things have gotten around the witchbomb but I do think this is the time for this.

Also, gonna insist on that closing line for Homu-talk that got cut. Switching to a completely differing but relevant track after exiting timestop seems important for security. It helps sell the idea that something minor just happened, rather than having an abrupt and suspicious moment where people step aside and instantly return without discussing or doing anything.

I choose to blame-

1. Homura did, in fact, do something wrong.
2. The problem of evil mild annoyance can only be attributed to Madokami.
3. This was all part of Oriko's fiendish scheme from the start.
4. Hijiri probably ruined this too, just like everything else she tries.
5. This lack of organization can only be attributed to someone with Sasa's fashion sense.
6. As with all brain damage in here, the root cause simply must be Sabrina herself.

Is there any thought that we could be setting up mis-communication in the Shiogama conversation?

The concern I have, and coded for, was to settle in their minds that the Clear Seed has special social significance at the current time.

Perhaps like a Royal Letters Patent of a monopoly? It is there for a purpose, but we also want them to respect our interests.

That is to say, it really isn't totally personal property of the girls we give it to? Or is that the way you want it to become? Think about it....
