I still don't get why people are so concerned with the evils of the Chaos Dwarfs. Go to any port in Nagoroth and you will find far more innocent slaves meant for an equally grizzly fate, the place is just likely to be less cosmopolitan in its clientele. By contrast to the far traveling Druchi the Dawi Zhar mostly deal with greenskins, Chaos marauders and Skaven. Is it just because we can see this on the page? Because that seems like a bad reason to be declaring eternal war over.

Guys! We fucked! They don't know Cleansing Glow! That mean we can't sanitize meat.
At best, they can use Ill-bane, to help with diseases and poisons. But even so, that would only halved disease duration, not cure it.
And our Candle can handle only one person at time, that mean it pretty useless on the strategic level we're operating.
This isn't exhaustive spell list for them though, it doesn't have Petty and Lesser magics on it at least, though it may be exhaustive for all "proper colour" spells.
@BoneyM , I don't know if this has been asked before, but are all colour spells that our subordinate wizards could use written in their spell lists, or some levels of them (Relatively Simple) are not shown? And what can we expect of their knowledge of Petty/Lesser spells (as journeymen in theory could not know them all, as was the case with Mathilde at the beginning of quest)?
Asking less for specific meat issue and more for better being able to adjudicate capabilities of our subordinates in the course of Expedition at large.

Because we are here, and not in Nagoroth?
Like, how are you surprised people do not like knowing there is terrible abuse going just behind that door, and we could go and try to do something about it, while not being as worried that similar, and worse, things are happening on the other side of the world?

Has anyone considered that 'raise an army to destroy Uzkulak' could be something to use the Transcendent Boon and Great Deeds on, and how likely would it be to succeed? How much could Mathilde actually raise, also taking into account her various favour and Aetheric Vitae? That sounds like something which could be a net good on the Old World.

You know, after the expedition. Years after. Maybe even after the Waystones project, imagine if we could get some Eonir in that too. Lady Magister Grey would probably love it.

Then we can visit the Hall.
The Golden Age Karaz Ankor have tried.
And failed.

Against one of their most powerful grudges.

Asked this many many many times before. Mathilde's subordinates are not obligated to give her their character sheets.

This bit seems to have been mostly overlooked in the discussions.

An Ogre tribe big enough to clean out all the livestock in a trading hub is kinda concerning.
One that's rich enough to pay the prices necessary for that livestock even more so, especially since WFB lore characterizes Ogres as kinda stupid.
One thats been pushed out of its hunting lands is going to be looking for new food, and they eat people.

And its worth noting that they cleared out the local livestock recently enough that no one has shipped in any replacements.
Suggesting that they may still be out there somewhere along our path.
Something to be wary of.

EDIT
Especially since Ogre culinary predilections are, and I quote:
I haven't said anything about it, because lore wise it checks out.

This is around the right time for Greasus Goldtooth to be making his moves for Overtyrant.

This is probably a rival clan that got kicked out.

The Expedition won't just shove the meat down the gullet of every man and beast the moment it arrives, they'll test it on one or two first and see if it turns out okay. If it does, great. If not, that's a problem they'd be familiar with and able to manage even if they didn't have Ambers and a Candle to provide magical healing.
I read it as "If meat not allright, it will be disposed". Right, @BoneyM?
Because I really doubt knights will be fine with "let's feed your mounts a diseased/poisonous food, we can heal them later! What could possibly go wrong?".

I'm not surprised that people dislike it, I'm surprised by all the vows to come back and... I don't know free large numbers of orcs goblins and skaven in the name of Ranald.

Again, we are here, people don't like just walking away.
It is unlikely we will come back, something will happen to distract us, but people want to do something.

You're asking for a clarification that would give valuable information about the relations between different enemy factions. If you want it, Mathilde has to go out and get it.
Initially I was just making sure whether it was an oversight or a genuine detail and then... I kinda got stuck on the specific question as I sometimes do. Consider this question answered in full and please accept thatvI wasn't trying to metagame.

In general I sometimes have difficulties discerning "actionable info Mathilde doesn't know and so you don't get to either without effort" and "world-building details that Mathilde doesn't need to know but are related to other things I have shared OOC". That isn't a problem that needs solving. I just hope to continue to get the benefit of the doubt on that stuff.

Eh, I probably should not tag Boney over things that probably has been asked already which others can answer me on.

What matters is that right now vote is firmly against any suicidal freeing attempts. What Mathilde will do on way back will be decided when quest comes to this point, and current debate would bear minor influence on that vote after so many intense updates. All we would have to do is silently counteract those attempts one more time, as it had been done now.

It would mean that there is a Dark Elf plot within Athel Loren that successfully stole or killed someone that had an Acorn of the Oak of Ages on them, with so much overflow that they can get away with selling them for that cheap instead of using them to directly fuel a scheme.
Or they just happened across a travelling Asrai Spellweaver, killed them and took the acorn they were carrying. They're not exactly singular in existence.

Honestly, I am against doing anything for the foreseeable future. Maybe if we turn the coin to the night prowler we stand a chance, but anything else against those guys that are, I must stress again, competent? Would be wasting our lives for no results.

We cannot be dawi, we cannot throw our live away for a moral victory where said moral victory won't even save anyone. Even a suicide mission is highly unlikely to have positive results to the slaves, and so we have to not act, not because we do not care, but because we cannot do anything, not without surpassing 30 intrigue and having the night prowler on or having an army that at the very least matches the golden age Dawi one that failed to get them or having them attritioned though circumstance (say, after a war with Skaven)

We have a Hysh candle for that. And even if not, Demigryphs eat fouler stuff on the regular without so much as a stomach ache.

The spells that are relevant to the Expedition are listed on Dramatis Personae. You don't need to know how good they are at petty and lesser magic, because those spells are not relevant to the Expedition. No battle will be won or lost based on how good Journeyman Citharus is at casting Glowing Light.

The meat will not be fed to the mounts if it is found to be harmful to them.

It's fine, if I thought you were trying to metagame I would have said 'stop trying to metagame'. I was just explaining in detail why you weren't getting that information because I failed to get the message across properly the first time.

Thanks for answer. Just as I expected.

Guys? Still want to pay for the meat with a coin toss chance to just throw it away?
edit: Clarified in the next comment. Sorry for my mistake.

We have a Hysh candle for that
If you think Candle can sanitize meat - no, it can't. It create Boon of Hysh, not a Cleansing Glow.
