The Asrai would only reward us with a trip to Athel Loren if they wanted to kill us in a deniable way. That place is way too dangerous to be an outsider in.
The thing is that the Lizardmen consider the Gold Plaques much more valuble than all but a handful of artifacts because the Old Ones´ instructions for the terraformation of the world are written on them, and since that it is literally the only thing that they are programmed to do, it is kind of a big deal.Chaos Dwarves don't allow a specific selection of things from Lustria, other things are evidently fair game.
Which I think is suggestion that if it is any sort of Lizardman artifact, it's NOT something that the lizardmen or slann care enough about to go tracking it down in the old world. Because if it was, then it wouldn't be permitted in Uzkulak.
I suppose if such thing as Qhaysh power stone would be possible, elven mages would use it in their most potent artifacts, not several individual wind power stones. The enchanted sword that Loremaster Teclis forged for himself at the time of the last Great Chaos Incursion is fabled to have had eight such gems upon it; one for each of the Winds of Magic. Ah yes, I misunderstood you. My bad.I meant more of a direct "how likely would giving it to them resulting in a vacation offer be". The chances of even doing that are low, I'll agree, but if it did happen, are we more likely to get some other reward?
Yeah, and i see no reason to change back my vote. That completely and utterly ignores my actual argument. Please go back and read it more carefully.
Eh, Panoramia probably doesn't want that. Actually, I wonder if we couldn't stick it somewhere in Sylvania instead?
What does Pan have against giant trees?Eh, Panoramia probably doesn't want that. Actually, I wonder if we couldn't stick it somewhere in Sylvania instead?
As has been pointed out by others, she wants to fix the Caldera on her own, instead of relying on a Deus ex Machina. Sure it might be an instant win button in that regard, but it wouldn't feel earned. What does Pan have against giant trees?
But sure, we should ask her expert opinion on it.
So, basically, I point out that the entire basis for your vote is nonsensical and impossible, and you fail to give any counterargument or reason why you disagree. You just think that it's a good idea to go on a pointless suicide mission with no chance of success on multiple levels, just to test Ranald and see if he can or is willing to pull the kind of deus ex machina that no other human god has ever shown the ability to do. Why?
The seed probably wouldn't be able to just "fix" the Caldera. Even if it were an Acorn of Ages, it couldn't do that. But there's no reason to discount the possibility that it could enhance the Caldera beyond what would normally be possible, or just add an additional cool feature to it.As has been pointed out by others, she wants to fix the Caldera on her own, instead of relying on a Deus ex Machina. On the other hand, if she can learn something from studying the seed to pull off a similar feat without it, that might work. She's probably got the raw amount of power with Waystones, after all, it just depends on the actual process of how the Seed works.
I want to see if Mathilde is a racist towards 'evil' races too, or compassionate to her enemies as well, plus character development of not deluding herself.
What about specifically Nurgle artefacts other than generic weapons and armor? Or Nurgle blessings?Because that's something they'd have had a huge amount of practice in handling, and it's something they can't really exclude without also slamming the door on some of their biggest customers.

The seeds are regularily used in fixing the most fucked up regions of Athel Loren. The areas where Morghur "Probably direct link to Warp" Shadowgave plied his unholy craft. So it likely could actually fix the Caldera. My reason for not wanting to plant it would be more along the lines of possible connection to world roots. The seed probably wouldn't be able to just "fix" the Caldera. I'd really like to see a Chaos Champion, powerful Vampire, paranoid Skaven, Druuchi or physically monstrous being going through customs.
It would also be cool to see any of the crazier items on the list that definitely got added after some incident be declared the second time around. Like, did anyone ever answer "yes" on the giant mummified frog thing?
