I'm a bit surprised about how that went down, but in hindsight it makes perfect sense. It's not like there's been much cause for them to need to learn how to gracefully coordinate before this. Seeing as they'd rarely leave.

I must say that while I am unsurprised by this behavior from the Karaz-a-Karak workers, I truly expected better from them.

Yes, but they were the ones willing to be indefinitely seconded to a foreign Karak, under the authority of a local Engineers Guild headed by someone from Zhufbar.

I think that we should take the linguists, Mathilde is a learning genius, but making a whole dictionary by herself is way off any of her specialties...
 
I feel we should definitely go and put our gong and niter factories under the EIC they would be able to use them a lot more effectively and we wouldn't have to micromanage them any more.

Dictating to Max and finally doing that dictionary is obvious. I'd like to investigate the mushrooms with Panoramia because that option has been around for a while, and apparently the mushrooms have been preventing the Halflings from cultivating some of the land. I forgot about that. I don't think we've spent much time with Panoramia for a while outside of the regular meetings, and I think she cares more about the mushrooms than becoming a magister.

We voted to use the EIC to be an information source. In addition, we spent a lot of actions preparing the EIC to be used as an information source. So we should be either exploiting its information, or expanding its capabilities. I think getting the non-private information would be a better use of time. Alternatively, now that we know Roswita's plans, telling Roswita about tax cheaters synergizes REALLY nicely, weakening the Vampire counts.

Ultimately much less necessary than other things we could be studying, especially the Coin. Why not study that instead? In addition, if Johann gets Windsight, we could outsource spider-talk to him on a later turn.
