[ ] Gain enough control of your attraction to smoke and gases to have it collect away from your face. (NEW)
you know, if we Crit this, we just might become immune to smoke and gas based weaponry (the non explodey kind anyway).

[ ] DUCK: Panoramia's about ready to test for Magister, but she doesn't have a lot of free time to prepare. Work with her to help make the most of every spare minute. (NEW)
Also Panoramia is ready for Magisterhood. But why is the option given to the Duckies but stated as a personal action?

It takes about five minutes, no matter the severity of the malady."
Well that's embarrassing. Maybe the healing item will make a nice gift to someone though.

. Their ragged clothing and the ropes that tie them are untouched, but every inch of visible flesh is burned a solid black. "It certainly did something."
Prince Gotri, naturally, is the first to be overcome by curiousity and prod one of the corpses, and the dead Orc collapses gently in on itself. All that remains is an empty shell of ash, and the slightest touch is all it takes to rob the remains of even that cohesiveness.
Nice, I was a bit worried about the clothing at first but it looks like that's not really a concern for our new shadow-laser tower. Still might need manual input if we ever do need anti-armor work though.

This is quite good. Turn what was initially a disadvantage against gas attacks into a defense. We've got a good understanding with Ulgu so I have high hopes for this.

@BoneyM - Here's a thing I posted earlier, would it be a viable enchantment project?
I did have a thought, regarding enchantment. It's not really based on any existing Ulgu spell, but would it be possible to enchant an item to attract Ulgu bound up in mist, fog, smoke, and the like to it (which would include aerosolized/gaseous poisons)? Probably wouldn't last long per activation, but even a few minutes would be quite useful. (Or, perhaps, a number of one-shot such items, which would have the benefit of not needing to go pick them up afterwards.)

It kills them but leaves the loot intact mmm

Let's help Panoramia prepare for her Magister exam.

Qrech Gambits: (NEW) (one may be taken for free per action invested in the Qrech category above)
[] Convince Qrech to tell you about the enemies of Skaven that exist in this world.
Would give us intel about any enemies of Skaven unknown to the Grey College in order to get a lead on the unknown dwarven rune axe and make future contacts.

If the vote ends up trending toward getting a human Skaven slave, I hope Mathilde just straight up going spelunking to find them in the depths. Because asking our Skaven prisoner how to find a more palatable replacement for him seems very, very dumb.

Could you elaborate on that per the wording please, I don't quite understand?

The first option is setting things up so that he can be left be for a turn without going slowly mad from isolation and boredom. The second is not only providing the Queekish to translate, it is also checking that it matches past translations and building your growing lexicon from the results.

General information on enemies is not going to zero in on runes of one of them.

Re: ducklings, I really, really, really want to make sure Panoramia's ready for the exam. We might need the Duckling action to be one that gets papers (and if so, I'd love some time with Adella), but Panoramia can't truly blossom into the straight woman counterpart to our mysterious smugness if she's a rank below us.
We're probably going to become a Magister Lord soon (in the real world; we go through a year a week as players); now that we've cleared out our spellbook, there's really no other reason besides age. They've already cleared us for battle magic, after all. So, uh, that probably isn't going to last long.
Nope, it's a "gather all the mist/fog/poison gas over there" tool.
By attracting Ulgu, if not channeling it. It'd be useful for making mist go elsewhere, yes, but it does also sound like good staff practice.

I'm sure we had a "study divine magics" option at some point but in spite of reading over the list a couple times I can't find it. Can someone help me out? I'm wondering if we can cram that into a plan somewhere since we didn't get this Avatar trait for kicks and there's some really interesting research down that line, starting with the crossed-out option for divine+vitae and going on to possible divine/ulgu spell combos.

I think it got generalized into the 'study an artifact'(coin) vote option.

I almost wish for a full scale orc assault through the deadpass so that we can use that weapon.

There should be a proper Dawi quote referencing the Sword of Hell, like oppenheimer referenced Vishnu.

Its the Coin option.
