@Boney Would it be worthwhile to try mapping/examining Nagarythe's network in the same turn as the elfcation plan? I'm unclear on how much these actions are "things we can try" vs "things Mathilde actually expects she can get results from" given the presence of Athel Loren and Nehekhara on the list, and the elves are less hostile than those two but possibly more secretive.

It'd be possible to try, but Mathilde won't be able to get a read on how worthwhile it would be until she's actually there.

The issue with apparition trapping is that it is technically a solved problem, as Fimir and Dawi Zharr can attest, it's just that people will burn you for that.

I'm not sure where the line is legally for 'binding non-Chaos entities', but it can't be zero tolerance or the Empire would be under obligation to execute any Ungol hags they came upon. I think that much like touching Dhar to make Waystone Foundations now that there is a clear and very profitable reason for the rules to be bent they will be.

Making new Orbs of Sorcery to trade away is one of the least interesting things imaginable to do with Mathilde's time and resources. I will not be incentivizing it in any way.

Would it be possible for us to exchange AV for college favor in the future? With the book, they should be able to set up the morb apparatus themselves. Or use it in other avenues of research.

Yeah, folks don't seem to have really internalized that this is the sum total payout of AV as a whole, and that it'll inevitably also mean that trading AV for Dwarf Favor is also on a limited timer since soon it'll be a much wider-spread thing for them to pay for at much lower rates.

Something I been wondering is if a Flying ship would need to roll on the ship taboo's table.

Ehhhh, maybe? Dwarfs like keeping things simple, Mathilde provides a direct access two mountains over, she knows how dwarfs work and dwarfs know how she works. She also had the ear of both dwarven runesmiths that could be called the Pinnacle of their guild.

Like I think the dwarven exchange will keep a bit longer. (Also I'm not certain we actually included that tidbit about rune recharge in our book, @Boney did we?)

Waystone project seems far from done. Well, maybe some more other people will get involved and take stuff of our hands, but i feel we should at minimum:

-Examine Waystones in the other near locations like Bretonia
-Design a less costly variant for filling out lesser gaps, maybe just removing the river part for places where there are no rivers.
-Take a look at Nexuses, and try to see how far we can get with repairing/cleansing/rebuilding/recreating them,

I do not thing dwarfs will be buying demon blood from other wizards anytime soon. It took a lot of trust to get the relationship going.

Dawi are not really that into "supply and demand" type things.
Value of the item is the value of the item.
So i doubt AV is about to go down in value anytime soon.
Even if college's managed to get large enough supply that they decide to start selling them instead of making all the Orbs of Sorcery.

Runesmiths don't pay for Vitae because it's an oddity they can study. If it were just an unusual material then more of it being available might reduce the price. Runesmiths pay for Vitae because it is a substance of IMMENSE use to their craft that they don't currently have a way to produce themselves

I think there's also a good chance the end result of "wide expansion of AV sources" isn't "runesmiths stop valuing it as much" but "runesmiths become increasingly willing to use anvils of doom in less and less important battles."
