Hag and Ice witches on the same team seems like a Bad Plan ngl
Actually I just had a thought @Boney would the Ice Court/Kislev appreciate our aid next turn with the... suspicious Boyar? Because if so we might get another shot at the non-tree related boons and that sounds more than worth our time to me.
They would be extremely skeptical of the idea that someone who doesn't speak Kislevarin would be an asset for surveilling and investigating a Kislevite Boyar.
They're part of the same state but there genuinely is conflict and feuds over jurisdiction and what not. I wouldn't say it's actually a BAD idea but it's more like... having the College of Magic and University of Altdorf on the same project. Perfectly doable, but will probably require SOME attention spent on keeping the bickering in check.Er... why? They are part of the same state and work well together, it feels a lit like saying Gold college and Grey at the same time is a bad idea. I'm not seeing the conflict.

It is something I would be interested in doing though, especially if we'll be working with Kislevites on a regular basis. Plus we have Polyglot, and Mathilde's whole diplomacy paradigm is focused on language, so it would probably be pretty useful.I mean we could also learn the language on the same turn, though that would probably take more AP than we can spare alas.
Sure but that still effects the established tone of their existing relationship. And as far as more in common than not goes... that's not always a GOOD thing, narcissism of small differences baby.I mean maybe, but we are not getting them involved in anything connected to jurisdiction, it's 'come to Laurelorn, meet grump dwarf and grump elf and show them up'. I think under those circumstances they will find they have a lot more in common with each other than not.
I was glad to read the Ice Witches are taking the initiative (and access opportunity it presents), otherwise I'd have been asking if we could follow up that loose end ourselves. I'm certainly happy to let Kislev investigate this touchy, sensitive internal matter. They would be extremely skeptical of the idea that someone who doesn't speak Kislevarin would be an asset for surveilling and investigating a Kislevite Boyar.
Her being better than Melkoth was as a swinging 30-something doesn't have a ton of relevance to how she stacks up to Melkoth at age ??? who removed himself from the flow of time to dodge birthday partiesI doubt she's the best LM running around, but that's probably pretty good for a relatively young age.
