My suspicions:

Mathilde and Drycha do spy vs spy, neither finds the other, but Mathilde does poorly enough to give Drycha a hint that someone's looking for her.

Mathilde flubs the initiative check, so Drycha has a chance to act before Mathilde can reorient on her.

The various Kislev rolls go as they went, pretty self-explanatory.

Drycha decides to ambush Lillijana.

Mathilde tries to interrupt the ambush, fails.

I don't think the 10 was for pretending.

I think it was for figuring out what happened after coming back fast enough to use it.

I think mathy lay there for a sold minute not comprehending what happed.
That doesn't really sound like it would be intrigue though. And again, even if we got caught, there should have been a combat roll.

Anyways, I'm just hoping that what Boney said earlier about holding illusions being bad for your combat ability applies to Drycha as well. Depending on various bonuses we might still be fine.

Whatever else happens, we at least know that we are now on the battlefield. Drycha might do some serious damage, Lillijana might be dead, but the cavalry is coming. Mathilde is going to survive this.

I mean, all things considered, rolls reflect the reality of the situation. Like what happened to Alric. Mathilde getting stomped is, in universe, an example of her biting more than she can chew.

At the very least, we know that Boris fended off the Manticore and is probably free to act, and the branchwaiths got hit by the scouts, who probably went on to support Milica or something, so that's one, maybe two named characters who are ready to go.

Don't think we've seen anything regarding the Branchwraiths.

Pretty sure the Woodsmen vs. Dryads rolls were the infantry.

Damn, we should have brought Max to take notes. Not even participate. Just sit in the sidelines and observe for our paper materials.
