Honestly, better than Mathilde having a good day and Kislev having a bad day. Armies do more to change the battlefield than a Hero, especially one who doesn't have a super strong connection to Kislev. Seeing Boris go down would inflict a morale penalty, not so much for Mathilde.
Right, I can't handle this stress anymore, I'm grabbing a drink.

Personally the way I am currently imagining the scene is that Boris decapitated the Manticore, raised it's severed head to the sky with a cry of "FOR URSUN! FOR KISLEV!!" which made his own troops fight even harder surprising the Dryads who are used to humans being fearful of them.

True, it's just kind of embarrassing, especially with how grandma Lily has apparently been talking us up. Then again, we kinda needed our ass saved with her, too…
Drycha is a thousands of years old spirit and an expert in the magic Mathilde is using. I don't think anyone is going to be too hard on her for not dunking on her.

To be fair Mathilde has done a lot, after all she is the reason they know what is happening, she made sure Boris is present and she got the additional Ice Witches here in time. Plus her knowledge about the forest spirits allowed their scouts to nullify Drycha's scouts.
