She's not as normal as the average person, but yea for the setting not the worse trait to have and it's only slight so with help from her family and people near her should be all good and would be interesting to play as an intrigue focused character instead of the martial focused ones that were freddy and likely will be Magnus.
 
For the record, Roland's whole deal in his early life was to try and fix Mousillon. Kill the monsters, consecrate the lands, dig new wells, bring in the Cult of Shallya, bring peace and purity through the Lady, etc. He and his older brother Maldred tried to do so.

Mousillon was definitely past its early glory days, but was still considered a wealthy if much smaller Dukedom than it used to be, and Maldred a known shrewd and capable commander and knight by the time that Royach Jules the Just died. For DoDA purposes, it's framed that Maldred became known as such and was made the Duke by the King for his deeds after the previous Dukes kept dying out and failing to hold back the steadily worsening conditions of Mousillon, while Roland was a Knight of the Realm.

But then came Malfleur, and the Affair of the False Grail, and then things really went to crap.

It's only really after that, where no Duke was appointed to replace Maldred, that the Dukedom started to decay more and more until it became the ultra plague-ridden undead infested hyper-mutated land of darkness that it was in 2522 IC with the Barony of the Damned being its newer name, plus the Black Knight, and other such issues of a land that became well-favored by Nurgle.

At the moment, in DoDA, it's already started sliding that way, with the Cordon Sanitaire put in place, but it's still missing most of two centuries of sliding into the muck. It's still definitely the 'worst off' of the Dukedoms, but that difference is far less of a gulf than it eventually would be in canon. It only slid into an impoverished awful place post-AotFG, and had managed to get pushed back into a wealthy position beforehand by the effort of the Duke and his knights.

That's the worst part. It was working. They were doing it. And then after Jules the Just died, Maldred thought that becoming King would be the thing to actually fully push Mousillon back into a fully glorious status - and he did what he did to try and get it.

Roland tried to stop it, stop him, failed, and the Fay Enchantress banished him from Bretonnia, and now he seeks the Grail himself, but for true. Not the lie that Maldred told and sold, but the truth. And perhaps, if he succeeds, not all of the blood of Mousillon is accursed.

Ori at 10 years old has Martial 21(Arthur a full grown warrior priest is at 24) and Intrigue 25. She is literally Lion and Fox, the two halves of the Warrior's Soul. Stewardship at 17, Learning at 20, Diplomacy 14(4 more then Freddy), Piety at 14 + she is a Genius like Freddy. I would argue that not only she has the greatest potential out of entire family but that we will need her at the top for future events.

All of the kids stats only become active once they are adults.

We are just getting a first look at where they will end up.

So no, Ori does not fight with 21 martial right now.

Yea in terms of the new generation ori has some if the greatest potential around and may surpass freddy in overall stats numbers, but looking at stats alone the big boss of the family is actually Alexandra.
 
Valerian, I know that. 21 is her current stat which is superlative. She is 10, she will likely pick up other traits to increase that number even further. Like Freddy has done during his life, he did not start at 37 Martial. 21 is her adult base form. Once she picks up experience, equipment and other traits she could be superlative indeed.

True but honestly it's a good thing she's in kislev right now, she's the only reason kislev and the Romamov faction are still standing and after freddy she's likely the most influential of the family, while we aren't seeing the benefits of that right now we will see it soon enough when normal turns returns and we get good deals from kislev and of course an alliance even more set in stone

I mean, worst case is you just lose?? Flat out? Overrun, forced into retreat, etc? Regardless of win or loss of the Temple, yeah, either Slaaneshi or Atharti+Cytharai smash you and you lose.

That's the worst case pretty much all the time, you lose and die >.>

I mean...technically...when you send off a child out into the world, like for marriages or whatever, they don't necessarily just shoop back home on a permanent basis either. Or if someone goes out into the world as a mercenary, wandering for a long, long time. Or a merchant who goes for truly long range trade missions like all the way to Cathay or whatever. IRL ambassadors can spend vast amounts of their lives in another country, too, can't they?

Doesn't mean they aren't still a citizen of their home country, or don't contribute to it. I mean, Alexandra does still keep up regular communications, has made little gifts for the children and grandchildren, etc.

She hasn't visited as much as she used to, admittedly, though she's been a bit busy.

If it turn's out the Chaos part of Bohka is being lead by some dude posessed by a deamon blade, we gonna have some oriental swear words.

Just wanna know if the druchii joining up for a permanent alliance was impossible considering the composition of our forces.
Granted that this is already a moot point since the vote was decided long ago.
But since we're locked out, its technically not a spoiler anymore.
 
Less than zero chance of any kind of alliance with a Druchii force devoted to the Cytharai and a bunch of ex-slaves and Asur.

Like, it's not a roll.

It just wouldn't happen.

This isn't the End Times or any other suitably apocalyptic circumstances.

huh. Odd question. Did Nuln tried to accure an Ironblaster of their own? As in the engeneers?
I doubt they are unaware we purchased one, and being more south , could in theory be easier for them to get one....
It would be of 'some' benefit to their endevors and knowledge...
 
Mmm, so there's a general sort of anarchic civil war occurring on the Ark at this point, where alliances between different Druchii are flowing like the tide by the minute. One moment, aligned, one minute, treachery, as they maneuver at knife point over superiority and supplies.

A rather significant mass of Druchii aligned in a most holy manner to Atharti have rallied to a large force centered at that temple, larger than any other individual group of Druchii on the Ark save perhaps for the Cult of Mathlann and the Tor of Dominance, with smaller holdout locations now centered around individual tors, noble estates, or the Anchorstone Complexes. The Atharti horde is not being nipped at by anyone aside from Alyssans specifically at the moment because everyone knows where the followers of a Goddess who directly tries to rival Slaanesh in domain is going to go - the big portal and Exalted Herald. Outside of that you have different Druchii noble families, wealthier families, and mobs of 'civilian' Druchii looking to climb the ladder in manners most bloody. Over anyone else, but for now, not going to mess with the Tor of Dominance or the Temples because, well, too strong atm.
