If empire survives the Beastide and karaz ankor survives the greentide, there will possibly be a human lifetime when one could argue that Old World will be relatively safe, like the sheer number of the named chaft gathered, the named heroes involved will probably cut down the population of greenskins and beastmen by large margine

Yep, I absolutely agree. If Ulthuan against whatever Malekith is cooking, empire against beastmen and dwarves against greenskin win in a slightly better way than a pyrrhic victory it would be a huge W. It may even start a Pax Romana/Mongolica equivalent.

Wards were somewhat damaged by the Kick, and then at that point it was like, fuck it, we need to 'reactivate' the Wizards to help out the Imperial troops and uh I guess us dwarfs too but not really we don't need it but like sure if we got some augment spells cast on us I GUESS it would be helpful but really we don't need all that unreliable magic but if you UMGI need it fine I guess thank you for healing my absolutely fatal stab in the heart Jade Wizard but we don't NEED magic but if you guys really need some then I guess as our allies you can use it. We have Runelords and Runesmiths anyway to corral the winds like the wards would have done and I GUESS they can funnel winds to you instead of letting the greenskins use them as much or as close to the front line even if it would be better if we didn't have to have any magic to deal with at all.

I GUESS.
I love dwarves so much. They're almost always some of the funniest and most entertaining dudes in whatever work they're in, and WF is no exception.

Best fantasy humanoid species.

That is hope yeah, and I personally that if this Waaagh's leadership is killed and most of its forces killed/scattered and the Everpeak/armies aren't in too rough a shape, they can do a counterattack and reclaim several lost holds that were emptied out of greenskins right before this attack.

and the skaven also lost a massive amount of population fighting in the badlands, chaos get shafted during the great war and the fourth vampire war did a number on the undead of the old world , so that is basically all the hoard factions in the Old World being spent
YUP, this is literally hard times being stopped from being end times by the combined stubbornness of elves, dwarves and humans. Like I fear for Karola's generation if hordes managed to bounce the numbers back by her time.

Logan quietly a part of that same group – one of the most beautiful they had ever seen in their lives,

his mouth feeling strangely dry at the moment.

"I…the word experiment," he said with a strange weakness that he seemed to not nearly have that much control over

patting his cheeks and making him feel a bit warmer than he should have been

she grinned deviously, making Logan gulp for a reason he hadn't quite yet identified.

Looks like our boy has a crush.

Not a bad bridal candidate let's see how her courtship goes.

She cried out now, chortling that noblewoman's laugh yet again. "Oh! Ho! Ho! Ho!"

...

What's her hair style?

MOST BEAUTIFUL AND WONDEROUS OF ALL OF THE STUDENTS OF TECLIS!"

We need to let Aurelion Alleria know about this.

For a more visual reference for what Gehenna looks like, sort of at least, it'd be a kind of composite between some of these outfits:

Mixed with the sorts of clothing that Gold Wizards wear in the shimmering golden robes and what not.

Without the backing frill thing behind the head, as instead her hair runs down her back freely, strangely metallic and everything.

She's got hair like this, but extended and much wider and voluminous like a loooong trapezoid reaching her shoulders in minimum width that then extends down her back.

And, I suppose this shouldn't come as a surprise, given her description, but yes. In terms of hair color, and eyes, and a lot of her body shape...

Just, you know, in a Gold Wizardy outfit like Balthazar Gelt but mixed up/blended with the other outfits I linked.

Honestly while very innacurate this chapter could be titled: "I condemn you to DEATH... by snu-snu." And it's hilarious.

But on a more serious note i wonder how Gahena would take that the actual reason Freddy did not sponsor the Gold mages is that they are:
A) Are too expensive to the relatively anemic northen economy.
B) We actually wanted a decent understanding of the material wrold before we shove WIND OF METAL into it.

As I mentioned, those are at best, approximations.

I'm speaking to the people and the outfits, not anything else in the background, yeah?

Why not Mami Tomoe?
Not as gold but still mostly yellow.
And muskets are closer to cannons than swords!

Gehenna would have some kind of affronted thing about gold being superior to mere mundane yellow, but again, I'm focusing on the bodies specifically. Mami is too...short? Small? Child-like? Compared to the actual mature woman that is Gehenna. Yes, yes, there are weapons being created in the background, swords vs. cannons vs. guns, and so on. But the imagery for visual reference of what she looks like do not require that the weapons involved be the exact same as what she herself conjured.

Patriarch Gehenna of the Gold Order - Alive
Behold from the front page, Matriarch Gehenna.... Ah, yeah. Torroar has the genders right on the front page for the leaders of the Colleges of Magic?

Add in
-Magnus Hertwig (Son of Frederica Hertwig nee von Kessel) - Alive/BD: 2334
-Bertha Hertwig (Daughter of Frederica Hertwig nee von Kessel) - Alive/BD: 2342
too, as they're not there.

Specifically, their Patriarch, Gehenna, sent warm words of appreciation that you came to them for metallurgic consultation. Interesting.
Screwup in the main thread too.

Ah,yes we cannot meet her personally. We are a married man.

...Logan is ulrican

... so who do we like and is single?
That is hell where he is walking. Golden Mages are too self absorbed/woraholic to Consequences of the golden wind.

She basically dresses in golden indian inspired garments, and look like a supermodel. Honestly i can see it, maybe some tattoos would work well with the composition?

I dont think his god likes guns. And i think they are supposed to be celibate.

Any relationship will either blow up in 3 month, or become an epic worthy of novel series.

...But those three month would be an experience.

Fixed!

Thankfully, everyone else was correct. Gave me a small heart attack there.

You don't know what's going on under those robes. She is an aficionado of golden artistry, after all, as evidenced by the beautiful etchings and carvings marking out all of her bangles upon her ankles, wrists, and around her neck.

Are Ulrican priests celibate? Cause having kids with magic users doesn't necessarily produce magic kids.
Yes. Ulrican Priests make vows of celibacy, precisely to prevent them from creating dynasties.

Canonically, yes, there was thing on them being celibate.

The Wolves Released: In the year 1547, the then-Graf Heinrich of Middenheim did something that no one but him was happy about – the forcing of the Cult of Ulric into vows of celibacy. He feared that the cult, then exiled to Talabheim, might forge a rival dynasty when allowed back into Middenheim. He dared to use the Eternal Flame and the High Temple of Middenheim as a bargaining chip, the coward! Well, no longer. The Graf Bildhofen and the Ar-Ulric Kron have come to a decision, after discussion with the High Priests across the Empire, and the edict of celibacy forced unfairly on the cult by a coward has been wiped from existence! Perhaps unsurprisingly, at least a few pious men and women have joined the cult as priests, or at least are training to become one, now that something that they should never have been denied is once more on the table. Some other cynics note that it is just as well, considering that the priests of Ulric as a whole never seemed to hold completely to the edict, slipping often. Now, it is not a slip at all, but a perfectly acceptable action. Many men disagree with the women joining the cult, but before the edict of the coward, as the Ar-Ulric would remind them during the announcement in Middenheim, women were once a significant portion of the Order of the Howling Wolf, the official name of the priesthood of Ulric. Only time will tell what results this may have for Middenland and the Cult of Ulric in the future. This has had the added effect of suddenly placing a remarkable amount of notability within the Ulricans of the Empire towards Nordland, of all places. For it is Sudfast Temple, an all-female location, which has received a remarkable influx of new inductees, while the rest of the temples of the Empire scramble to accommodate for the changes that will surely be coming.

Though there have been other rules and regulations put into place, again, to prevent dynastic issues.

Yeah once we do get enough money we are hiring a Gold Wizard. If they are even a fraction as powerful as Gehenna and help boost our armor and weapons capabilities and their spells are able to cause serious destruction, then they will be a very good investment.
