Do Taal and Rhya have some sort of conclaves where the different branches meet up? Like What Morr have?

I imagine they might, but its entirely possible that it isn't held that often. It's noted in Tome of Salvation that when different Cultists of Taal and Rhya have major disagreements, they rarely come to blows like you might see Ulric or Sigmar do.

They just...go away. They leave. De-escalate, travel further or elsewhere in the wilderness.

This being, you know, a world like Mallus and people like humans with people like the Horned Hunters and what not, though, I'm sure there are definitely instances of blood spilling.

They might meet every fourth spring at major stone circles, or in Talabheim's forest. Or, you know, major extenuating circumstances like a guy proclaiming that unification of the Empire must be done and Taal sending a beast and rattling the skies and what not to proclaim his truth. Or afterwards, when that man might offer the Cult an Electoral Vote.

Heck of an ending month to the year. Taking parent to 7 different appointments at different medical establishments, including the 30th.

I'm sorry gang, made big noises about this arc not taking too long, but IRL is doing its level best to make a liar of me.

Lot of driving around, waiting, hearing bad news, getting new medicines, and driving back. Again and again.

Big time sink, not... particularly great for writing. I managed those omakes, but, well.

Still trying to do what I can, when I can.

My dad is having surgery on the 27 and since I am the most responsible child I am taking off between Christmas and new years to help him after his surgery. Torroar do what you got to do to take care of your family we will be here waiting.

Honestly, from where I'm sitting(as the guy on the sidelines, having I think never voted)? It feels like a different arc now. Like, there was the defense against the dark elves, it happened, it's over. We are now dealing with 'Aftermath part one: the (Hopefully) great escape'. It's a different problem; a New Conflict, if one directly descended from the last...

Even then, and on a bit of a tangent, I don't really count Freddie getting captured a negative. This is just His luck almost running out on him after all this time(in game, and IRL) . It weirdly feels very Story, in a legit bought and read novel kind of way. The hero, despite being the primary POV, is not unkillable, but this isn't the end of the book. so when their actions catch up to them, they can't just be killed off, the book ain't over. / tangent over

But back to the point: This is a consequence of the last conflict. It's something new, it's something different. This isn't a fight against the dark elves, it is an escape after having already won the fight. Yeah, there's still 'Aftermath part Two: Tallying what was lost' to see. But some of that is already being shown, if in small parts. Boss, you are doing Aftermath: 1&2 at kind of the same time. It feels like we're speeding along just fine. doing what you can when you can is fine. If you allow the complement, I'd even say it's going pretty great.

Best of luck for those appointments, thank you for the work this year it has been great, and happy holidays.

Take your time Torroar, If you have to call a long term hiatus to take a break for personal reasons that you should do it. we understand that comes first.

Anyway, the reason I am posting is because I had a random thought about that prophecy that the hag gave Frederick in Lauralorn. My question is this. How many incidences have happened that can be blamed on the prophecy in one way or another?

We still probably don't know what she meant when she rambled 5 by 5 by 5 by 5 during the prophecy uttering.

Truncated Preview:

"Hmm."

"What is it?

"There's been a murder. An actual important one compared to the usual lower level treacheries and deaths."

"Oh?"

"A scion of House Cruelbarb is dead, along with all his guards, whilst scouting out the lower gate districts for potential participants in a new round of Questioning."

"And...that's bad?"

"Not at all. It may well benefit us. Cruelbarb supports Alyssa, after all. And if her Ark is not safe for them, then it might not need be her Ark, yes?"

"Do you think-"

"I highly doubt it is yet another group of survivors from Salkalten, especially near the gate districts. Besides which, the details escape the measures of your warriors, even the ogres."

"What do you mean?"

"They were slain brutally, but not devoured or even snacked on as an ogre might. As it is, fingers are flying - an escaped beast from House Direblaze's stocks? A maddened Witch Elf seeking redemption for failure through murder most high? None know for now."

"That's..."

"It may well even be a stray daemon. It seems the sort of thing they might do. The scion, a princeling, had the majority of his skeletal structure pulled out and pressed into a wall to make a curious pattern. Like the horns of a beast, utilizing the ribcage and spine."

"...horns?"

"Hmm. I wouldn't know for certain. Why?"

===============

"I need you to move your...assembly."

"What? Why? Back into the rest of your chambers where everything is much more flammable?"

"Not necessarily, just off the coffins."

"The...what now?"

A slender finger tapped emphatically against the torture slabs you'd slept and rested upon.

"Everyone is doing their level best to 'return to normal', meaning I have orders coming in. And the incubation period is nearly complete for some of these."

"Incubation."

"Yes. Now, please, move the...materials...so that I may get to work. As it is, you may wish to move to the other chambers regardless. Lest you find yourself too nauseated to focus properly."

Man these drucchi cannot catch a break, and they're still stabbing each other in the back.
