Hmm, gladiator-wise the logical plan seems to set fire to Cruelbarb on the sly to start Direblaze vs Spitethorn deathmatch to to monopolize the gladiatorial arenas, while Hultressa can try to cozy up to Spitethorn* to prolong the chaos.

* Since Direblaze was the first one to kneel to Alyssa I don't think there's any point to trying our luck with him.

Aww man, Karaz-a-Karak would be an excellent place for the Emperor to show off some Gryphon riding skills. This'd definitely be the biggest battle he and Sigismund would fight together yet.

And Sigismund may gain enough experience and prowess from the battle that he may impress Oskana a smidge more next they meet. ;)

Anyway, now that I am awake I can review what we learned from the update:

1) Terrors are stationed at the Water and Food production sites as part of the defenses.

This is lovely. Hultressa should be able to order them to allow our sabotage teams to pass silently or too stealthily kill the other guards.
The latter would be more of a panic button approach as we don't want to give up that Hultressa is a traitor so early in the game. But if we cannot find any other way through, or the dice forsake us, its worth mention.

2) The different major Stadiums. First one described seems to have the most trained fighters, so it would be our priority to free the gladiators there first.
2a)The second stadium is filled with a mix of Beasts and loads of defenseless men, women and children. From a tactical standpoint we want those beasts dead or running wild in the streets causing chaos. Morally we want those slaves freed, but only if we have secured a path toward a successful slave revolt, otherwise they will just be captured again.
2b) The final Stadium's contents is a mystery box. I suspect that we will find a bunch of unique personages in there. Sisters of Averlorn, Longma riders from Cathay, Merchant Princes, Priests, etc. Unique, possibly important people for the sadists controlling that Arena to create customized acts of torture and horror for. Probably our best bet to find more Hero unit type characters that will help us on the Ark.

Really want to hit the food supply, pyramids is prob the best ones.

We hit it and ignore the water culture, make other druichii either turning head if its an intentionl rivalry, then they fall onto one another.

Vice vers also works.

Any guesses as to how the Dawi fleet will react if Freddie escapes with the assistance of an Elgi magicwielder? And one of the Druchii at that. :V

ommon folk, though. he more base vegetation
Missing a T

defenses as well. But let me ask you this, child. How much sulfur, saltpeter, and charcoal do you think your mother would be able to acquire for me?"

"I need to know something. How much sulfur, saltpeter, and charcoal could you find me?"

"Why?"
Duplicate.

I really love this arc - mini arc? Ark Arc? Lel. Anyway I like the look into Druchii society and infrastructure.

[X] The Battle of Karaz-a-Karak

I am curious how Gwen would get along with Magnus' maid since she was once a Chosen of Khaine too.

On another note, here what I imagine our sabotage plan looks like.

Hultressa can hopefully get large amounts of black powder ingredients easily, can say they are spell regents or something, but Freddy still needs to take time to mix it all together and make the bomb casing.

So while Freddy stays back making a big bomb(s) Hultressa can sneak Nat and the Bret knights to the aquaculture location and have Nat freeze it first cause she can most likely mess the place up without getting too close.

By the time they return Freddy will have made enough bombs and while the dark elves are investigating their aquaculture they can quickly hit the food pyramids, set alight their main food source.

Hitting both their major food sources one after the other in close succession should send the Ark into enough chaos to try and find our people. What do people think?

Sooo... If Nat and the crew are sitting in a warehouse full of carcasses, how come Oskana is starving? That sounds like a buffet for her.

Makes me wonder if all the Whitewings were female nobles who refused to let the culture of their homeland prevent them from becoming knights, and so became merc ones together.

Hope that she can be happy they died like true knights, fighting evil till the very end.
Didn't their battlecry at Salkalten call them all "bastard daughters of Bretonnia" or something like that.
so who i have to bribe too see all of them?
Torroar, duh. The better question is: what with? :V

Maybe they didn't want her to eat too much and risk tipping people off? Can eat quite a lot after all and they were hiding in there.

Either way that spell seemed to energize her so moot point.

I do not recall.

@torroar what it take for you too write all 3?

Super hard frozen ones. Gryphons main diet is fresh, screaming, bloody meat. She's not as good with chunks of ice with meat in it. Natasha could have expended magic and energy trying to unmelt some of the meat, but she might have needed that energy if they were found and had to try to fight or run. Plus, they were in the middle of trying to stay hidden and unnoticed. Hard to do that if anyone can say 'hey it looks like something with a big beak and claws shredded it's way through half the warehouse call the guards and what not'

You have to remember they had more concerns than just immediate food at the time. The utility to move more freely was far more important than leaving evidence of their passing.

Pain.
