There is a normal human, with strength 5. Same as Ogre Tyrant.

No there aren't. On TT even the most elite humans like Kurt Helborg, Karl Franz, Louen Leoncoeur, Valten etc, etc have S4. The only humans on TT that have S5 are ones empowered by Chaos.

Basically on TT it goes:

S3: Standard human, elf dwarf troops

S4: Elite elves, dwarfs and humans, standard ogres

S5: Vampires, elite ogres and elite Chaos forces as well as some monsters

S6 and above: Practically solely the domain of different varieties of monsters and warmachines.

Or you can have Strength 6 if you happen to be Settra the Imperishable.

Carrying around all of those titles all day must be a hell of a workout, my man can armwrestle a Giant if you believe tabletop stats.

Actually Boris is S5. It was admittedly an older edition though.

It's all good! Again, TT can be useful as a judging point at times, yes. And the lore interesting besides, after all.

I just wanna caution people against trying to use it as sacrosanct. It's a very broad thing, those TT scales, especially when compared to Lore and how we see people actually do despite the TT statting.

I literally linked a wiki article about the guy in my next post and said where his rules can be found.

EDIT: here is a Total war thread where someone has posted his lore and stats.

Hmm. This is pretty surprising then since I know that the latest editions before WHFB got End of Timed were pretty strict on non Chaos humans not having S5, even for characters who explicitly carry powerful divine blessings like Valten or Louen. Wonders will never cease I suppose, or maybe I should have just checked my sources better:p

Bruckner's strength is noted to be inhuman even in-universe, with people speculating that he's a straight up Mutant or magically augmented.

Heroic Grail Knights don't have S5?
Really?

Yes. TT was pretty strict on it. Grail Knights, even heroic ones, on TT don't have S5. If you have your Bretonnian lord take the Grail Vow on TT, turning him into a Grail Knight, then he gets the magical attacks rule and Immune to Psychology rule, but no actual stat boost.

Aside from that Grail Knights in TT can also be taken as a rare unit in which the individual Grail Knight is statted like a mounted Chaos Warrior (Chaos Warriors also have S4) that has magical attacks and Immune to Psychology.

Hope our Vapor Tanks have the chance to shine soon, especially since can be great to use against dark elves in formation, their monsters, and even enemy artillery. Really want to see what they do in their first major battle, and the best part is that while obviously we don't want them destroyed they can be if needed and more can be made later.

I have to imagine dark elves don't combat tanks often, so it will be interesting to see how they face them.

Probably in a similar fashion they'd fight any other powerful monster- smack it with battle magic, then hack it apart with their own monsters and heroes.

I'd rate Tullaris pretty good odds to carve a tank right open, personally.

Heroic Grail Knights don't have S5?
Really?
Nope. It's possibly an artefact of having a really old armybook (Bretonnia was never updated beyond 6th edition), but Paladins have he exact same stats as Empire Captains, and Bretonnian Lords only have +1WS over Empire Generals.

Albeit Grail Knights are Toughness 3, compared to Chaos Warriors' T4.

Basically, trading the lance

For fat dosh and little relation, Caledor

For decent dosh and relations, Eonir/Asrai

For huge relations and little dosh, College Mages

IIRC.
