I know I was talking a big game about an update every 2-3 days, but unavoidable IRL medical stuff on behalf of family immediately swallowed my time. And that takes priority, so...yeah. Anyway, all's good now, we're back.

Its cool man, anyone would understand.

Also jesus magnus, taking a page from Freddy there by asking your hand be smashed. That is a baller move right there.

At this point its just normal for members of the family to mutilate themselves to make a point, which considering out access to Jade Wizards and the Light of Summer makes it doable but certainly slightly crazy.

On another note, I would love to learn more about the Giants IC in general since I'm sure it would throw Freddy and company into a loop since the most they know about giants is being wandering gluttons or siege engines for greenskins and Chaos, baring the one in Talabacland.

Speaking of greenskins, the last queen wiped them out? How did she do that? Greenskins are like, impossible to totally burn out due to their reproduction.

Its Boudica, fire is prob how she did it.

Tons of fire and with druid aid.

*Reads update*

Oh good no one turned into a spawn or exploded! Yay!

My vote is to keep the formation as is and vote for learning about the other tribes, the land marks, and the druids since those things are most relevant to the campaign.

Hmmm I'm glad we decided to trust our jade magister, and that her desire to help was born more out of an excess of empathy and personal responsibility rather than pride.

Hmmm, since human population on Albion is low I wonder if they would more receptive to Jade Wizard fertility spells, so long as we continue building trust with them that their magic is safe of course. Goodness knows the tribes need a population boom to make up for decline they've likely been having since their queen died.

Something for later.

On another note, I am curious just how much progress Magnus in reclaiming Ogham Stones in general in roughly six months. After all, they took first sight in less than a week. Would be funny if he helped kick off a string of fast victories up to point of taking fight all the way to the Fimir's city! I would support taking it if possible at all.

I'm not really sure if I'm correct with this, but the name Boudica does have some Celtic roots right? 🤔

Does that mean that Albion in WHF has some Celtic mythology inspired stuff as well? Like is there a Cú Chulainn inspired expy running around somewhere?
...Albion is literally just Celts. That's it. Celts and the Gaelic/Bryttonic peoples derived from them. That's pretty much the entirety of their thematic influences. As for a Cu Chulainn expy... well there is an option to be taken for the Lugh expy.

"This is something that can be confirmed, eh," Mardudd nodded before cupping his chin in his one remaining hand. "Let me tell you story, eh? Aberfa!"

"Aye," the Chieftain's daughter said before she stood upright and then shoved the large stone column she'd been sitting on over. "Sit, Empire, ey? Be comfortable," she said before placing both of her hands on Reinhardt's shoulders and patting him on them once he'd gotten seated.

And then stood directly behind the Ostermarker, her arms crossed.

...seems I was mistaken before. It's not Magnus that needs to worry about becoming a harem protagonist...it's Reinhardt!

On a less humorous note @torroar will we get a chance to ask about the other Albion topics in future turns or is this the only turn where we can?

Wow, so much stuff to potentially learn...and this stuff I have no idea about, compared to much of the general information I knew regarding Sadrina's infodumps.

Seeing how long the campaign could potentially be, it kinda makes me wish Magnus and co managed to tempt more wizards to go on a bender with them. Or maybe a few warrior priests.

Maybe since the winds are so much stronger here, Sigmar or Ulric would be able to help Magnus and Mena in some way.

Presumably.

I mean, I am trying to avoid that as much as possible, hence why now that things are a bit more established, we'll be hopefully going through Clan Glyldŵrlyr's lands at once rather than doing each individual stone circle. Then there will be other options afterwards, with some depending on rolls and events that might occur during said hopefully-single-update length. Guess we'll see.

Okay, I'll admit, I was wrong about Carlotta but that roll was pretty nerve wracking. Getting a six probably would have been awful.

I definitely want info on Boudicca and the giants. The third choice is a lot harder though.

[] Other Tribes/Clans Of Albion Beyond the Glyldŵrlyr, Matholwyr, and Nudd

Good for diplomacy and future considerations and somewhat interesting.

[] The Giants of Albion
Giants? Giants.

[] More On Queen Boudicca, the Last Queen of Albion
Albion may have its advantages over the Empire in its isolation and being an island, but still. Eradicating the Beastmen and the Greenskins?!

Wouldn't mind Lugh though.

With the Fimir and Albionese having so few men, i really think that after this we should send a merc army of 5000 to 8000 big along with volunteers from anyone who wants to help, we should see if we can get some ogres to join this

We could make a really big impact in Albion with a few thousands men to helping clearing out the Fimir

[] Of what you knew from reports, when Ostland's sailors first made contact with Mardudd's village the albionese said something about 'Sidhe' being captured? It has nothing to do with the current campaign but you are curious.

@torroar is this acceptable?
I'm sure we could, but not super relevant to the campaign we are doing at moment so seems kinda like waste of a question we can most likely ask later.

Anyway, here is my plan.

[] Plan Campaign Intel
-[] Remain In Original Deployment, I.E. Reinhardt with infantry, Mena with cavalry, and Magnus aiding in direct Ogham reclamation
-[] More On Queen Boudicca, the Last Queen of Albion
-[] Other Tribes/Clans Of Albion Beyond the Glyldŵrlyr, Matholwyr, and Nudd
-[] Major Landmarks of Albion

Basically keep same battleplan since working out while asking about queen we have been hearing so much about/the fimir city, the other clans out there that might help or not, and major landmarks to get better lay of the land.

Thoughts?

Glad that went well.

Perhaps we should switch our leaders and tactics up a bit, to keep the Fimir from adapting to the Imperials and how they fight?

The fact that you used that picture is hilariously ironic. Check out the old Albion quest if you want to know why.

Well, the issue is, we're already playing to everyone's strength.

Mena is the aggressive hit and run force that hits the enemy flanks, Reinhardt is the center and heavy duty person to hold/charge important areas, while Magnus runeblade and greatswords are the hardest hitting thing against a Fimir.

No real point to swap unless the terrain and area favors different things.

Well glad to see we were able to help Mardudd and his men.

It may just be me but it seems like Mardudd is speaking more clearly the longer we're with him.

Edit I suppose the proper term here is he's becoming more fluent in the language.
