Okay, I absolutely take back any bad thoughts I had about the Karak expedition. The battles were grinding me down but holy shit everything from the Gazul(?) thing is pure fucking gold and I love it and I love horror and I love this.
That's a broad question. In what sense? How they react to each others' character? Political results?@torroar since it's unlikely to happen, to say the least, what could be the results of Magnus meeting with the Dragon Emperor?
They meet, assess each other and after a tense moment of silence Magnus starts beatboxing and challenges the emperor on the throne who's the true beatbox monarch. That results in the diss of each other's empire. (size jokes may or may not have been thrown)@torroar since it's unlikely to happen, to say the least, what could be the results of Magnus meeting with the Dragon Emperor?
So anyone else think we should roll up to the next Elector count meeting in our brand new vapor tank as a sort of humble-brag? I'm sure at least one other province would be interested in buying more from us once they see it. Hell Big Magnus might want to purchase one from us directly.

We need to have the Vapor Tank pulling a cart filled to the brim with musicians, to get the flex level to the maximum.Humble Brags our fun... and it would be a great way to introduce the concept...
Um... have we forgotten to tell the Emperor about that? The inner events of Lovely Laurelorn that took place in Athel Loren proper were literally just Frederick, yeah? And he hasn't told anyone but his immediate family about any of that.

Winged Lancers, not Hussars. And bear cavalry as far as I know hasn't been a thing until the trailer. I'm guessing in the quest they'll (eventually) have their elites ride warbears similar to the inner circles of imperial knightly orders with their monstrous mounts (demigryphs, pegasi, hippogryphs, Razorbeaks, etc).I have a question @torroar
Are the winged hussars mounted on bears that appeared on the Warhammer Total War Canon trailer canon in this quest?
it will probably come up in the next elector count meeting.
...maybe we should get one of the Eonir to come along to vouch that what we're saying actually happened, because the other Counts aren't gonna fucking believe the shit we're going to be saying.
We're not going to be telling them, seeing as it didn't escalate to the point of affecting the greater Empire....maybe we should get one of the Eonir to come along to vouch that what we're saying actually happened, because the other Counts aren't gonna fucking believe the shit we're going to be saying.

It kinda did? A complete shakeup of two Elven factions - both great powers in their own right - with the spawning of a third located within the Empire's borders is most definitely affecting the greater Empire and needs to be explained, even if just to avoid misunderstandings and to make sure that the other non-Trident Elector Counts don't see Nordland as weak for giving up land. We're not going to be telling them, seeing as it didn't escalate to the point of affecting the greater Empire.
Laurelorn was already in the Empire's borders. Not every little issue is brought up at the Meet, letters and officials and underlings are a thing. Stephan will handle the perception of his own province. There has been no greater political change for the Empire, just Nordland and Ostland at most.It kinda did? Again, great powers of the world just had a massive shake-up. This is the sort of thing that affects the entire Old World because everyone is affected by whatever the Elves are doing. Knowledge is power and withholding important context for 'whatever is going on with the elves who are the greatest navy in the world/rulers of the magic death forests' because 'nah they don't need to know' is just... what?Laurelorn was already in the Empire's borders. So was Karak Ungor. You didn't see us bringing it up at the Meet, it was rumors and tales that got it done. We might well have never told Magnus if he hadn't up and asked us when he saw our physical changes when we went to the Al-Ulric.Again, great powers of the world just had a massive shake-up. I wonder how much they would even mention since Athel Loren is not in the Empire's borders and elf business is elf businessThe ever queen and her possy were there thus the ulthuani elves prob know, and thus it trickled down to whatever ambassador is there in nuln and most likely teclis
Yeah, and that was also negligent. Massive changes in those who've been allies for centuries is something the Elector Counts need to know about. Fuck I think half the problem the other Elector Counts have with the Trident is that we look awfully like an isolationist power bloc that's going to split off when Magnus dies. These are people who lived in the Age Of Three Emperors and we need to start pushing for greater integration and cooperation between the Counts. That means sharing important political context. So was Karak Ungor. You didn't see us bringing it up at the Meet, it was rumors and tales that got it done. Or, it was not required for us to micromanage to that extent because it wasn't needed. The concept of communication is so obvious that Torroar would not just go "you didn't vote to bring it up at an event that happens once every seven years, it's up to luck and chance if the other provinces know."Yeah, and that was also negligent. Canonically? I've got no answer for you.
It just goes from naked Udose tribesman wearing blue paint and dueling one another with two-handed axes to Ostlander citizens with the checkerboard black/white and red bull in the center in the canon sources.
Some tribes don't even get that much details. All we know of the Ostagoths, for instance, who became Ostermark, is that they believed in unified fortified settlements and yet proved unable to hold off a huge tide of Greenskins, which is when Sigmar showed up and helped out.
I'm sure I could muddle out some reason or another if given a bit, but I'm trying to write out a Brink update at the moment and see whether or not a planet gets blown up.
