The army may be tired, but letting 20 odd thousand greenskins and their bonebreaker just walk away will hurt us in the future. There is also the fact that they wont just magically disappear and reappear in the badlands or wherever they end up. They are going to have to move through our friendly territory and will cause more damage there. Kill them now and stop the problem from coming back to hit us later. That bonebreaker is exactly the sort of target that the thunderers will be able to take down.

Its not the angry wife that we have to fear, but rather the quiet dwarf. Our dwarf teacher is going to be pissed that the another master crafted suite of armour got trashed by us again. The next time he will have to get in his cousin and have some runes inscribed, because if we ruin another suite of armour that's getting a grudge. :p

Torroar did mention that ogres can literally wrestle giants to the ground.
Urgdug just suplexed a Bloodthirster.
Why not get him a new name?

[X] They Rested: After so much damage, the people of the Empire needed rest. Exhaustion and wounds afflicted many, and they could prepare to face the danger of Gorebash in the future. To face a Bonegrinder in their state was foolhardy.
 
And goddamn if the Warboss ain't a hero unit and a half himself. I mean, against other enemies I'd advise it, since they'd keep on fleeing and cavalry could harry them. But Orcs seem too likely to turn around and hit back hard if given a reason not to, erm, charge away from the enemy.

The Warboss tool out a Exalted Slaughterbrute. Even with help those things are monsters and the fact that he lives shows how tough he is.

Only other hero units have a chance against him and they are all very tired or knocked out after dealing with the chaos forces.

That's not counting the Shaman and Bonegrider.

Best to let them go and lick our wounds.

If he ever does come back the Empire will be more refreshed and ready to handle an army. It has not been 10 years since the empire was reunited so we are still getting use to working together again.
 
I would like to point out that Teclis and the other archmage that's not Aurelion are not tired, so it's not like we have no hero units that are in good shape.

Bet you Magnus is also ready for another brawl.
 
Magnus was carted off to Nuln for healing; I don't recall anything that said he returned to the field. That essentially means he's in the same shape Frederick is aka non-combatant for the next while.

Freddy has killed a Greater demon I wonder what that has done for the army's opinion of him.

If we're lucky, and I mean extremely so, maybe, juuuust maybe... we can trick convince some of them to stand between Freddy and Natasha as he tries to explain why this happened.

...Oh and also some to guard the Ostka so she doesn't take it away from us.

Least bad time to kill them.
 
We could use Natasha's pent up rage to create a new ice attraction for our lands.

We just need some guys from Cathay to carve the ice into some nice sculptures.
