This.Spite is a horrible reason to let the people you are supposed to look out for suffer more then they need to.
Let's not be an arrogant ass, that's the sort of situation that lets Destro thrive.

Which happens to be exactly why my votes this turn went towards things like "food" and "protect the people" instead of diving into a mountain for loot and charging off to a battle just to let out some steam. Coincidentally I voted to not go get Magnus' attention, because knowing how we stand amongst our neighbors and what they can do for us is much more important when I'm already devoting everything else to improving the lives we are responsible for. I'll continue to ignore Magnus until he becomes the better/best option for our limited action(s) per category. This has nothing to do with spite and everything to do with spite and everything to do with making sure our citizen survive the now.Spite is a horrible reason to let the people you are supposed to look out for suffer more then they need to.

The setting has us getting screwed every step of the way.
...I completely missed that, but it's awesomeEizenhorn... we have an InquisitorWitch Hunter named Eizenhorn... Torroar have you been reading 40k stuff? and if you have been is this a reference?
It also has the nice benefit of us going out and killing Beastmen, which is always a plus. The less of those that exist the better. The Bull of Iron option is just a way to show the people that the new Elector Count is pro-active and is about getting out there and fighting for the people. Not just to 'let off steam'.
Thinkin' bout closing survey at some point in a few hours.
Unless you guys think I should let it ride for a while longer.
...That's an good idea actually. We'll get one next turn and they can become a teacher at the new gun school once we build it so we kill two birds with one stone.

What's going to Nuln's reaction if we are able to successfully start our own gun school?
