[] It might have been my arm that wielded it, but it was Countess Hertwig's sword I used to slay him as we fought together in our duel with Gruber. She deserves the Triumph more than I do.

We could always start a game of hot potato who is more deserving of a triumph with Ortrud the humble.

Not in a Northern Wasteland short on resources and constantly hammered by enemies. Things like this are also affected by the environment, not just human nature. Rather, it is human nature to adapt to our surroundings.

In a more prosperous, more secure location, what you suggest could happen easily, because they can afford it, because internal threats are more common and more deadly than external ones, thus human nature adapts to taking out the internal threats, because that's what works.

But in a place like Kislev, they cant afford that. External threats are far more common and dangerous than internal ones. Thus, human instinct of survival would shape values and culture into the best way of finding off the external threats and thus insuring the nations and it's people survives against the external threats. In this context, human nature isn't going to allow something as stupid as killing half of your valuable strategic resources of Wizards which are extremely handy against your external threats just because killing them would insure the dominance of one small part of the population and thus not even essential for the internal threats. Unless it was truly necessary.
Or it's a chaos plot. Honestly I think the prophecy is total bullshit and no one can convince me other wise.

Going with how warhammer usually go the prophecy is probably both a grab for power, a Tzeentch plot, a Slaan mandated plan and a real prophecy all at the same time. So do we really need to keep poking it?

I like how the political blocs are starting to form, with us, Stephan, and Otrud all ready on pretty good terms, and Adolf, Moro, and possibly Karl leaning towards good relations. I like Victor less and less the more I see of him.

Can we have Archmage Aurelion join us in it along with the rest of or allies? It would really piss off that Dragon Prince.

Does it really matter? If our son/sons show signs of magic, they'll just be sent off to the Colleges of Magic to learn something other than Ice Magic, and as we continue to build ties wit Kislev, we can encourage them to do the same and even legalise them sending their male infants with magic potential to the Colleges of Magic.

This way, the potent magical firepower and support they represent is preserved and we don't poke/risk the Prophecy.

Much safer than trying to play Chicken with Fate.

Eh, nah. I think the person who made a point about him and his motivations had a point. He's not going to like us, but let's not go any more out of our way than we already have to piss him off.

No need to fall into the same pitfalls as our ancestors though, good trade relationships with Hochland and turning that hatred into a friendly rivalry will be of far greater benefit to us.

Alas, she was most...disciplined for her actions. She absconded with a healthy chunk of Talabeclands military and 20,000 citizens in Flagellants.

Her father was not pleased about her doing that, even if he was happy about the result.

She isn't in Nuln.

She is currently sitting in a room in Talabheim with the doors and windows locked and barred except for servants.

Adolf informed Magnus of this when they exchanged letters.
Considering her wanderlust that must be the worst punishment to get.

I can't find anything on Imperial Triumphs, but I like this write by @Sage_Of_Eyes .

-[X] My actions... I did not do them for accolades, nor did I do them for recognition of any sort. I acted in the belief that my people were in danger, and upon the... realization, I asked for aid from all whom I could. My... actions do not merit such an honor, I believe that I simply did as any Elector Count would do in the face of such great danger.

I'd rather go hunt down Thorgar first before dealing with a vampire.
We're still recovering from fighting Gruber, and Thorgar's a danger to the entire Empire. Let someone track him down while we worry about stuff in our province. Also I'm getting kinda sick of mini-turns and would like a nice stretch of normal ones before the next set.

I also wonder if their skilled hunters can be helpful in fighting in the Forest of Shadows.

I don't think the Halflings would like to go into the Forest of Shadow. Remember when Moro said that Halflings generally like to play it safe? It might be very difficult to convince them to fight in the Forest. It might even break the agreement if we try something like that. The Halflings being sent over will probably be more like cooks, farmers and businessmen than warriors.

Point is, though, that if the dwellers of the forest sees that we're getting stronger, they might launch a preemptive strike on our citizenry while we're away dealing with something else.

I'd say our work in Nordland is well and good for the time being for working with the Empire, we need to better our province now.

He's talking about Hochland's.

He means hunters from Hockland.

Magnus himself is offering this and it should help things along considering magic will be closely associated with our line from now on.

That's right!

We are married to a magic user and have magical children but we still fought chaos and won. Natasha even fought with us with others from her country and the High Elves. This could greatly help people start seeing magic as useful rather than something that must be feared.

Magnus is a really smart.

Possibly but I just don't like having to deal with another daemon prince in the making. They're quite troublesome and we did promise to help Aurelion on fighting Thorgar.
