I think we can all agree that Sabine would be of more use to Magnus as a ruler.

"Grimnir damn it dad! How am I supposed to top that?"
Watch him and Gotrek challenge Khorne to a bout of old fashioned fisticuffs.
If regina doesn't win I'm voting for Evangeline.

because strengthening ties with the northern trident or monstrous martial are more useful.
One of our strategic aims is to lessen the worries of he southern provinces that the Northern Triad are planning to secede. So everyone that plans to vote for Hertwig should take into account when voting.

This isn't wrong since he gained divinity through trickery and there are tons of legends of people combating even goods by being tricksters themselves.

Of course his worship is barely even tolerated in Empire and IC Freddy has no reason to give him more support in general unlike throwing temples at other gods.
Mm, assuming torroar goes with that origin for Ranald.
But even if not, Ranald is a trickster god, and his worship isn't banned in the Empire.
So I'm just pointing out that he would be quite useful for us, since generally the Empire is the weaker side of things (have no real match 1-on-1 to Chaos Warriors, Druchii have bullshit magic and Skaven have insane magitech, Greenskins just won't fucking die off and leave, etc etc).
Plus, given how torroar pleasantly enough portrays the forces of evil as fighting each other, there'd be a lot of shenanigans Ranald could do to help us.
And, hey, Ranald's also the god of luck, and I'm sure we can all agree that we could really do with more luck in our lives.

Just pointing out we shouldn't dismiss the guy, and be on the lookout for chances to include him into the pantheon we're setting up.
Trickster is a very important position.

Plus, if Sabine goes against us, she's more of a threat since she's strong where we're weak, whereas if she's on our side, she'll cover some of our weaknesses (something that we need a lot of help in).

Don't make assumptions on how people feel based on just the numbers.

It isn't wrong though. She only has one real negative trait, greedy.

I mean sure the Hertwigs are fantastic, but I don't think we need to marry them to keep good relations as friends.

Also Regina has THIS Trait: Angry Place – Sometimes falls into a fit of uneclipsed fury when faced with something offensive in the eyes of Sigmar. The only recourse is trying to calm down for several days…or violence. (+4 Martial, -2 Diplomacy, -2 Stewardship, -2 Intrigue).

This does not bode well for our family in particular. There is also fact that she is absolutely bonkers.

People are using Skulltaker as comparison for his fight with Sigmar.

But wouldn't he be more powerful now than when he fought Sigmar cause he had 2000+ years of experience and leveling?

We already failed if we can't even trust our own spouse.

I misread the context of your comment. Now I know you were supporting me and not saying that she'd stab us in the back.

Evangeline has the Genius trait. Since it's at least partially genetic, she can help stack the deck for other genius kids which is a +2 to every stat with no negative.

Not saying dismiss but there will be blacklash for openly supporting him and like said IC wise Freddy is an Ostlander and they don't care much for Ranald in general even their minor god of bartering is more popular than him.

I think having a more dedicated cult of Ranald in Ostland would be amazing but would be hard to pull off.

If we're going to be playing the genetics game then yes that would be the best choice and she isn't that bad either, but she also has bad intrigue.

I'm mostly worried about people picking Regina because she seems "fun", but to me she seeems like a "disaster". Too crazy and clearly has a mental disorder based on her traits, possibly genetic to.

Hertwig or Sabine, both are fantastic, but I personally put my vote for Sabine.

I'd be 100% fine with Evangeline if it wasn't for this
Trait: Quite Robust – The fact that the Jade Wizard Lord Wolfgang has been present in Ostermark for far longer than anyone save for a handful realize doesn't matter. Just like how the whole of Ortrud Hertwig's pregnancy that same Wizard Lord may or may not have been on hand the entire time. No, Evangeline Hertwig was just luckily born as incredibly healthy, tall, and strong. (+2 Diplomacy, +2 Martial)

no actually I cant.

Like lets face it were gonna keep fighting, all the goddamn time.

Martial is a must.

Well good thing I'm going for regina first, who is the daughter of a southern count.

Fortunately, we have a tool to bludgeon them with.

Rogue Witch Hunters in service to a heretic, no less. Not a lot of proof, BUT we can bring it up to them....

I think he's dead. And the thing about being resurrected is, well, the Gods have to feel you're worthy of it. Which, well, Jung ain't.

Said gods think Failbadon is the best person to lead their minions and keep bringing back Eliphas a couple dozen times.

Here's hopeing your right though

Sabine just seems boring and mediocre, especially in the area we've relied on the hardest.

I'd rather our kids be monstrous in strength and be a bit off rather than them be sane sneaky sneaks who die them moment they get into the kind of fights their father and grandfather get into.

Because they fucking will.

Also regina also has better base diplomacy than magnus, and piety is useful as shit as always.

Yeah, we are going to be fighting, not our wife. When was the last time that Natasha joined us in a war? Not all fights happen out in the open where martial makes a difference, sometimes they happen in the shadows...

yeah our kids are also going to be fighting.

So giving them a genetic leg up on that is high priority to me.
