Thank god we didn't pick that one, then. This isn't Warhammer Dynasty: Conquest, so our luck would never have held out for that long.

Luck that quest may have, but we stumbled a bit in the beginning. And even then, most of our luck seems to have been swallowed up by the family to the point we had to have an in universe explanation for it.

[X] Aurelion

I want to help Kassel,but elf is more strategic important,Elf still struggle with Nurgle,they only lack in manpower to break through,Help them with man power and balance of power will tip toward us.

Is that quest as ridiculous as the characters sheets imply ? Because holy shit that some MASSIVE stats/traits inflation there. I'm wondering if the stats even mean anything anymore.

Depends. In the beginning, it was the average quest. Then we started having one kid after another things started going up hill from there to the point where it was actually surprising when we actually FAILED a roll. Then around the second half of the kids or around when we started getting grand kids we started noticing the family was becoming so super human Voikirum actually gave an universe explanation for why the dice were being so generous. When we say the Lady is with us, it's more than an expression.

It has gotten to the point where what most would call bullshit has become the new normal for us and the only thing that really surprises us anymore is anyone having an intrigue stat better than average.

I'd also point out that we've started improving the Warhammer world as a whole, but I'm not sure if that can be called ridiculous. Depends how you view some of our actions.

Also the most recent turn has been a bit more average than we're used to, we're not sure if that's supposed to mean anything right now.

Oh yeah, I wasn't talking about you just Conquest.

Tough, one thing I've been wondering, when you determine the bonus granted by the stats, does every points count or are the bonus tiered ?

Mmm. I think I've decided. It's sort of bounced around in my quests, but from here out I'm going to lock it down.

Half of Stat will equal the bonus gained.

Thus, from here on, 22 = 11.

Though I'll be kind for when you hit odd numbers. Like so

21 = 11
22 = 11
23 = 12
24 = 12
25 = 13
26 = 13

[X] Aurelion: An Archmage of the High Elves. You are unsure on whether or not she is quite on the levels of the Loremaster's that the legendary Teclis brought from Ulthuan, but it doesn't matter. She is already likely far more powerful than any of the newly created Wizards of the Empire are capable of. An army of High Elves, confined, ready to move and fight as they are meant to but unable due to the forces of Gruber. Not to mention, if you head that way and hit Heilidorf, rescuing her, then you can head south and defeat Gruber's little rear-guard maneuver. And even if he catches wind of you redirecting your forces and does the same with his own, when you slam down into Luftberg your forces will be supplemented by the might of Ulthuan! Besides, how many humans can say that a High Elf owes them their lives?

Not quite as ridiculous as the Slaan (as an aside, the deaths of Mazdamundi and Kroak were by far the best part of End Times so far for me), but they're noticeably improving the Warhammer world, which is ridiculous in and of itself :p

Hmm... this would mean an intrigue of 4 would still mean a bonus of +2 to the roll.
Just an idea:
How about the value -10?

An ability of 20 would give a +10 bonus, same as halving it,
while an ability of 4 would give a -6 malus, showing that the character is bad at it.

While 10 would not give any boni or mali - the average ability.

Let's not overthink it, a bonus of half the stat is good.
