Breaking with SWB on this one. The Torqui Leb Lagans are Explorers, meaning they can't enter Vanguard and cost more to draft for SF service. They're also massive crew hogs (6O 6E 5T) and can't be refit until 2329... an eternity away. Meanwhile the Renaissance-As can be started this year and done by mid-2328 while freeing up more crew and fighting comparably.
[X][STO] Scrap the Torqui Leb Lagans and replace with three Renaissance-A.
Also going to go with Mielab so Caitains don't have to do berth upgrades.
[X][CAT] Adopt the Mielab in its current form.
[X][BETZA] Rename the class the Bird of Paradise, as an analog to the Klingon Bird-of-Prey but for much more peaceful ends.
