Vote closed! Sorry , won't be able to properly answer questions promptly, have been hauled off to the city
The Seyek were @Iron Wolf's omake reward species, so cultural questions are probably best directed to him lol.But they called themselves "the Seyek of Rethelia" so they do share that name, and they described their planet as though it were specifically their planet, not merely the planet of a single species in their federation. All the stuff about preserving resources because they come from a desert world was implied to apply to all of them. But enough speculating....
@OneirosTheWriter please set us straight on the Seyek. Does Starfleet believe them to be a multi-world federation of races, or are they all native to the same planet? How big a deal do they seem to be? The Captain's Log was unclear IMO.
What have you done? Your going to make @OneirosTheWriter, the classiest shark blush! What the hell is that going to look like? I'm not prepared!Just want to say this quest is amazing, and I would have loved to see it as a live action tv series.

Yes, they are multi-world, but that shouldn't be taken to mean they're a baby great power. Still middle power level.
@Iron Wolf
So, what are the Seyek like? Democratic? Do they all share a homeworld? How did they form as a nation? What do their constituent species look like? Does someone need to draw a UFP-tan with a Seyek-chan imouto
YEESSSS!! Fellow Stellaris player! Huzzah!

No, nothing unusual or sinister, they're just sentient tsundere bees No dread secrets. (Drones don't drop dead straight away is the only thing I'd make sure is clear).@OneirosTheWriter do you have any big plot twists or revelations planned for the Apiata? If not, I'd like to write a Starfleet xenocultural assessment on them.
that's what Animated Series' are for.I don't know that we can use the Seyek much. CGI costs to animate all those giant snakes are crazy, and you know how actors hate playing against a greenscreen anyway. That's why for the Apiata, the make-up department stuck some antenna on them and called it a day.
