Look, his big thing was making sure that you don't shoot his messenger. Given that the Federation likes conducting diplomacy, I expect we can avoid mountains of skulls being built in the ruins of our fair cities.
First off, I'd like to find out who at Personnel is 'losing' my requests for leave time, because rather than the beaches of Risa, I'm here playing games with Cardassia.
The USS Lakota got into a rousing argument with a Konen Silence near the spinward Enio outpost. Not so bad, but trying to muster reserves and reinforcements with that Starbase sitting there at 67 Gabriel was like trying to hide the fact you ate the biscuits from a parent who hasn't told you their new bag is actually a portable imaging scanner (You may not believe that's a true story but I missed the All-Tellar Debate League Final in '78 because of it).
Naturally, there's only one thing to do when the neighbours are being that annoying; you go over and give them a bit of your mind. Well, we started pushing towards Konen space to relieve the pressure, which worked, pulling forces away. A Kaldar II then pushed hard against a Dorsata colony. We did our best to entrap it, but 67 Gabriel knew we were on the move and the Kaldar about faced, harassed by Stingers. Once we started getting organised, I had Task Force 6 move into the Enio subsector, ensuring someone spotted them, then had them disappear into some of the local spatial phenomena. It had the desired effect - Cardassian attempts at pressuring Enio effectively evaporated after they became aware there was a lurking and unmarked task force waiting.
Sincerely,
Rear Admiral Gorac Crogan

Sector Details
Roughly encompasses area from 4h to 1e, with outcroppings, with space above and below this plane
~15 Squares worth, each of which contains a few dozen stars, of which a quarter will have planets and other items of interest
Each power is accessing the sector from a different direction. Your staff will be attempting to surge out, claim, then retain space. Keeping a safe route for logistics for stations and nascent colonies will be important.
To start with, your commanders will have Starfleet assets and Starfleet auxiliaries. They will begin to ask for other resources, and you will be empowered by Acts of Council to pick and choose who you use to contribute.

Unless we plan on an insanely large EC I doubt this will be the case. IIRC our LE/HC designs start R&D, which will last two to three years, in 2327 and then 5.25 years of prototyping on top of that we won't be seeing any of those until around 2335. By 2331 we should have 19 Ambassadors going by Briefvoice's spreadsheet. Another four years we'd have easily bumped that up to 23 if not more.
Currently we have 9 EC ships, of which only 8 are active duty thanks to Stargazer disappearing. I highly doubt the GMs would be happy with us tripling the number of EC events they have to do every quarter. If we assume we go up to ten active duty EC Ambassadors that would still leave more Ambassadors in general service then in the Explorer Corps.
Seems about right to me. Adding 3 EC ships to bring us to 12 over a 10-15 year period seems reasonable. That gives us several spaces to have a few TF flagships and a couple Ambys for hotter border zones (HBZ/GBZ for example). I would not build more than that, given that we will be cycling Ambys in for refit near the end of the decade and will need berth space for those as well as E-B refits. So about 18 total with 2/3 being EC. I'd rather use the resources to build Keplers or RennieAs or EBs or just save up for our new Garrison ship. Ambys are just massive overkill and are very pricey. For my estimate of an Amby-A, as potent as they are, we can build about 3 Keplers (6/9/12 270sr vs 7/7/6 260SR, we don't have a problem with our Tech income and given the Officer/Enlisted disparity we can easily afford the difference).
I mean.
If all else fails, QMs can just, like, not write every single Log and just hand out rewards, with the exception for truly most interesting (like, oh, only 3-5 per month or quarter).
That is a terrible idea. I have no idea what my work schedule looks like any given week - it has swung from 36 hours to 74 within the same month - and I enjoy sleeping some times.
I'm still confused by this. Aren't they considered an affiliate of ours, so shouldn't they be rolled into the Starfleet section? And, didn't we let them back into the GBZ a while ago?
Also, it looks like there is a mixup in @Nix 's map and this post regarding Apruzza (33 Dorsata) and 2 Dorsata. No clue which was the original Apruzza.

That came up a month ago. I offered up a couple of ways to resolve this in the discord and the message was pinned, but nothing further came from it so far.
I admit I know nothing about the mechanics behind the tests, but can't the QMs just consolidate the rewards/penalties?
Instead of five different events it would one event while QMs write from the perspective of one ship and mention the contributions of the other 4 while leaving it open ended enough that other people can use it for omake fuel if they desire.
