Both sets of government are explicitly in a crisis period. It sounds like the Romulans suffered something that is just short of a coup, and I don't even know if the Klingon High Chancellor is still alive or if someone already assassinated him.

Yeah, my concern, atm, is that they could collapse into warlordism, depends on their neighbors and what remains of their centralized power, but it can be bad... it will probably be bad regardless, but it can be bad for us/

Yeah, even if you take an Empire Quest viewpoint of being happy that they're both wrecked (and you really shouldn't ) from a purely practical perspective the complete collapse of either polity would cause some serious problems on that border from pirates etc.

How difficult would it be to hire some Yrillians and Hishmeri to counter-raid the Goshawnar and Cardassian forces in the GBZ?

Although, come to think of it, the Klingons are probably hiring as many of them as they can to keep their logistics functioning just well enough for a final push on Romulus.

Going to be some nasty arguments in our own government about whether providing aid to Klingon civilians right now would be the right thing to do or if it would currently just facilitate their conquest of the Romulans.

I pretty much guarantee that the Gorn will jump into the war at this point to grab some spoils; given their governmental structure and their past relations with the Klingons and Romulans, it would seem odd if they don't take the opportunity to redress old grievances and acquire new territory to hand out to the nobility.

Romulan Fleet Strength According to 2319 Report.

3 Khellian Heavy Warbirds
~15 Devoras Heavy Warbirds
~15 Daljerra Warbirds
~4 D7 Cruisers
~8 Aehallh Light Warbirds
5 Science Ships
~25 Birds of Prey

Romulan losses in war this year.

2 Devoras
3 Khellian
4 Daljerra
6 Aehallh
6 Bird of Prey
1 Science Ship

Romulan remaining ships, not counting whatever launched in 2320.

~13 Devoras Heavy Warbirds
~11 Daljerra Warbirds
~4 D7 Cruisers
~2 Aehallh Light Warbirds
4 Science Ships
~19 Birds of Prey

Oh boy. When their fleet can be matched by Starfleet alone (forget any member fleets), you know the Romulans are in trouble. Compare to the Klingon fleet.

~4 Tar'chak Capital Ship
~2 K'Vort Cruiser
~40 K'Tinga Cruiser
~50 Advanced Bird of Prey
~35 Bird of Prey

Hmmm.

Do we have any ships bordering the Romulan Border Zone?
I think its safe to say we can pull most out for other duties though Klingon border zone ships remain as it is.
Also I don't think we will be seeing any pirates from Romulan space.

Romulan Shipyard losses, based on 2315 Shipyard report:
Iberius Fleet Yards [1x3mt, 1x1mt, 3x500kt]
Rator Fleet Yards [2x1mt]
Terix Shipyards [2x500kt]
I should note that this is speculative at best, not only because of how old it is, but also because their current generation of warships can't actually fit in the 14 500kt yards they supposedly have.

May as well toss my affirmation onto the pile.

Can we somehow hit the staging ground of the Goshawnar? Fleet action, intrigue action, something else?

And - if the Klingons do push and win, will they stop? Or will they, for example, also gobble up the Sotaw?

Side note: I suspect that the Romulans have some sort of tech that lets them build auxilleries from 500kt yards or are outright cheating somehow. Because in 2315 they had 12 1 Mt yards, including repair yards, 3 of which they just lost, dropping them to 9. They are currently building 23 to 31 ships that require a 1 MT berth. So we should probably select the Romulan shipyard report to figure out what sorcerery allowed them to build 14 to 22 1 MT berths in 5 years. Or 20 in 3 using the 2318 report.
TL:DR The Romulans new generation of cruisers and frigates are too big to fit in half of their yards. This has apparently caused no issues whatsoever.
@OneirosTheWriter Can you build auxilleries in 500kt yards or is half of the Romulan fleet about to vanish in a puff of logic? :V

So, the time has come. Do you think the Amby Herself and the Enterprise-C will be ready in time for the talks?

"It is year 1917 on Romulus, and everything's on fire."

"It is year 1929 on Quo'Nos, and even machines are starving."

"Meanwhile, in a Federation far, far away, it is Episode One and everything is proceeding exactly as we've foreseen it."
"Darth Horizon: Yes, my master."

Like wow, that was situation is a complete and utter clusterfuck. I'd make some professional armchair strategy analysis for it, but I feel like we've reached the point where it will be decided on the backs of capable officers and pure luck.

Suspected Force on Romulan Border:

None
o_O Are they testing a new cloak or did we roll 1s on intel? *looks at the state of war* Nevermind.

Indications are that the Harmony have completed their diplomatic recalibration.
:o How far are we to Honiani ratification? Also, it looks like we need an anti-HoH task force. Redesignate TF Jade once they finish clearing up the unreliable ally tag on the Tauni?

Also, once the Honiani ratifies, I still think it's a good idea to split up the tailward (or was it spinward?) theater into two, with the "top" part being a new Coreward theater. Let the bottom part remain focused on the Klingon-Romulan war and the aftermath, with a tactically inclined VA. And then install a diplomacy inclined VA to the new coreward theater that will include all of Honiani space. Like, say, T'Lorel.

USS Summerstorm, Centaur-A-class Frigate (Starfleet Build Order NCC-2134) @ Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards Berth 3
"Summerstorm"? Why not "Monsoon"?

Other potential weather related names for the 5 Centaurs still under construction: Torrent, Tempest, Thunder, Thunderstorm, Whirlwind, Cyclone

.....I wonder if "Jinn" is the Brosmen name for the Imelak. I mean, it's quite a coincidence that the Imelak arrive fleeing something, in about the same timeframe as the Hishmeri arrive, pursuing something.
Oooh, nice catch. We should ask the Hishmeri and find out.
