Captain's Log, USS S'harien, Stardate 26659.6 - Captain T'Rinta
A Seyek orbital colony on Psanoss VI has suffered a catastrophe, with a hull breach, many trauma patients, and dwindling medical supplies. Their facilities are swamped, however, with the lingering effects of the Seyek pandemic confining many of their ships to core world orbit, we are the only available responder. The extent of the damage to fleet readiness caused to the Seyek Space Forces was clearly underestimated, not least on Rethelia.
We must reach Psanoss VI before their medical supplies are exhausted and they begin to lose patients. Tens of thousands of civilians are at stake.

Survey missions around the fringes of Betazoid space have provided us with a number of Cortide deposits ready for retrieval.

Captain's Log, USS Sarek, Stardate 26660.7 - Captain Samyr Kanil
We have arrived at Laian to help assist their commissioning efforts on their new Egillah starship - officially anyway. Unofficially, we are here to look for signs that the Harmony of Horizon is making efforts here at this stage.
Thankfully, we have so far seen very little sign of meaningful Harmony activity. There are none of their ships, or signs of their subspace wakes, in the region.

Captain's Log, USS S'harien, Stardate 26661.4
The entire crew is on edge. We are pushing the warp drive to its limits to reach Psanoss in time. The engineering crew is running extended shifts, having to carry out dangerous "hot" maintenance on components to keep them running. My first officer and I are having to keep the peace among the officers and crew as emergency power conditions are in effect.
An EPS conduit malfunctioned due to fluctuating power loads due to the warp drive's drain on the system, injuring Petty Officer Alpizzina. Doctor Argunn reports the Petty Officer will make a full recovery. However, with outages and instability throughout the ship, crew members are watching every component like a loaded photon torpedo.

Captain's Log, USS Yukikaze, Stardate 26662.2
We have just finished responding to a distress call on the Apiatan mining colony of Naprinata. Their delving deeper into the crust of this moon in search of more duranium apparently opened up a chamber occupied by neural parasite that became capable of spreading by contact. It became capable, some twelve hours after initial exposure, of powerful subconscious command of the host. This cause a cascade of collapsing colonies when workers inadvertently infected their Queens after work shifts. We were able to set the situation to rights, narrowly averting a civil war between angry families.

Captain's Log, USS Huascar, Stardate 26662.6
A research project on a series of symbiotic creatures on Ophelica III has resulted in considerable progress in understanding naturally-occurring genetic reconstructive techniques. We have safely taken samples for study and will carry on our research. My chief science officer will be preparing a presentation for the Andorian Academy.

Our arrival has been made on-time and safely, allowing us to intervene on Psanoss VI and prevent any further loss of life.
Although most of our engineers are still working around the clock to cool down the badly strained power systems aboard the S'harien, I have been able to assist the local colonists in damage control and reconstruction efforts, having more than a passing understanding of the dynamics of blast damage and what to watch out for. The first thing I did aboard the colony, other than direct the medical crews, was examine the damage sites, and inform the colonists that they had missed damage caused by transmitted shock that would have soon ruptured, causing another blast. This danger has now been averted.

After detailed analysis of the last sets of subspace communications from the Stargazer, we have been able to posit that the ship had been moving at several hundred thousand times the speed of light, and was already extragalactic and accelerating. Where they are headed, however, we have not adequately determined. Suffice to say, they have encountered some other technology, unknown phenomena, or potentially an entity such as the Q encountered by Rear Admiral Thuir.
For now, we must wait and hope they return.
