Yan-Ros 291/500 + 21 = 312/500
After a very determined Amarkian Ambassador managed to make the Round of 32 in the prestigious Unity Tournament on Vail, a lot of additional attention has come the Federation's way. In addition, as the fall-out of the unmasking of the Honiani Resources Minister by Ranger Team 37 and a Starfleet vessel continues, the FDS has had great success leveraging that to appeal to the Yan-Ros sense of adventure.

They're now above 300... sweet!

Ongoing Research Bonuses
Vice Admiral Victoria Eaton - +3 to Sensor research, +2 to all Capital research
Vice Admiral Nyota Uhura - +2 to Xenopsychology research
Vice Admiral Pathe Lathriss - +2 to all Doctrine research
2320s Mainframe Systems - +2 to Ship Design research

Didn't we have a Medical research bonus from our Rear Admiral in charge of Personnel, Zrai ch'Shennaryth?

Starfleet Medical Research Command : 2320s Preventative Care

+10

30 / 40 Melanthriss Physical Therapy Protocol (Rehabilitation I) (+.25 to all standard Recruitment categories from recovered crew)
35 / 40 Noel-Lurs Diagnostic Guide (Mental Care I) (+.25 to all standard Recruitment categories from better retention)
30 / 40 Sterile Field Generators (Sickbay Expansions I) (+2 to Hull/Survival rolls made during botched plague rolls)

That is going to be a pretty sweet crew income increase next year.

Cdr Kuznetsova's Tiger Team: The Mission Unending

+10 + 2

74 / 75 Explorer Esteem (+5pp from Every Explorer Built)
75 / 75 Dual-Mission (All Explorers Count as -1 Combat)

Ah darn. 1 away from earning some sweet political will for two Explorers coming our next year.

Sol Sector - D21 -> D18
Vulcan Sector - D12 -> D10
Andor Sector - D9 -> D7
Tellar Sector - D9 -> D7
Amarkia Sector - D9 -> D7
Ferasa Sector - D12 -> D10
Apinae Sector - D12 -> D10
Rigel Sector - D9 -> D7

RBZ - D12 -> D15
KBZ - D6 -> D10
SBZ - D9 -> D11
CBZ - D10 -> D12
LBZ - D9 -> D11

So this requires... no rebalancing whatsoever! Thankfully we've always made an effort to go above and beyond requirements for our border zones. Mostly I have to figure out what to do with the ship freed up from Vulcan Sector.

Send it to the KBZ for Caldonian Peacekeeper support (+8D for that for two years, iirc) or earmark it for the nomad prevention task force.

@OneirosTheWriter 2310s Starbase Design - Control didn't seem to get any inspiration. There is something missing for the tiger team, the calculations don't add up (61+12 = 73, + 5 inspiration = 75 +3, 61 + 12 + 3 = 76). Perhaps you forgot to apply the admiral bonus to one of the techs?

Also could you clarify whether ch'Shennaryth's medical research bonus is still supposed to be a thing? Otherwise it would be missing for the second year in a row.

@OneirosTheWriter can you clarify what quarter the Caldonian Peacekeeping Fore and the Ataami Defense Operation will begin? Will it be in 2316.Q4 or in 2317.Q1?
In Q4.

Let me check up on that.

Edit: Okay, found it and added into the bonuses list. Added +6 to all med research.

I'm a bit surprised that sectors like Ferasa and Rigel (which are on the edges of Federation space and have no de jure border zone covering them) get a Defense drop from that tech.

This is not a criticism, I'm just surprised.

I know that we don't do 'swarms of small ships', but that 'ships in borderzones count as 1 Combat less is so so exploitable with lots of low combat ships...

She's still mad about that tracking device in the necklace.

"...Wait what?"

"So let me get this straight... this is from some kind of parallel universe where Captain Kirk was born about eight weeks early and spent half that time getting prenatal care in the back of a shuttle, and it affected his brains, right?"

@OneirosTheWriter
I love that the bonuses are listed at the beginning, will make remembering easier.

Corrections:
2310s Personal Protection
Last teach should be 32/40 not 34/40 (was 21/40 last year)

2320s Diplomacy missing the +2 bonus to each from Uhara so
26
26
26
36

2310s Starbase Design - Control did not get the inspiration boost
was 22/60 last year should be 33/60 now

The Mission Unending should be finished was at
61/75
61/75
last year
61+12=73/75
61+12=73/75 and the five point of inspiration will overrun and finish both

Continued Diplomatic Push

Tauni 148/100 + 20 = 168/500
The ongoing negotiations between the Tauni and the Federation over use of Federation blueprints have been positive, if as yet inconclusive. However, it has provided a useful vehicle for the FDS to take the measure of Tauni society, and interact with it. Like many exploration-focused species, the Tauni have a very rich vein of sci-fi literature and entertainment, and the leading edge is starting to reach the orbits of our members and affiliates.

Yan-Ros are now over 300! Tauni guess another 15 for each of the remaining pushes, so right around 200, higher with better rolls. And once again I love the flavor descriptions that now come with the push.

Boosts Apply for:

Bonuses Unlocked During the Year
To Medical - from T'Mir Events - 2320s Preventative Care
To Weapons - from meeting ISC - Primitive Phaser Arrays

Ongoing Research Bonuses
Vice Admiral Victoria Eaton - +3 to Sensor research, +2 to all Capital research
Vice Admiral Nyota Uhura - +2 to Xenopsychology research
Vice Admiral Pathe Lathriss - +2 to all Doctrine research
Rear Admiral Zrai ch'Shennaryth - +3 to Medical Research
2320s Mainframe Systems - +2 to Ship Design research

This new format is great, seeing what bonuses we have makes it less likely we will forgot a bonus and less time playing where does that bonus come from again. Also both bonuses we unlocked were huge, shaving off a year of research for each. I know I have spent time trying to figure out what bonuses we have from admirals and what has been unlocked by research.

Member World Coordination Office

Ships Commenced

United Earth - 1 Super-Freighter
Betazed - 1 Patroller-A [NCC-2509]
Apinae - 1 Dorsata
Seyek - 1 Cargo Ship
So not much in the way of new ships starting but the ones that do are major. The Dorsata is the Apiata version of the Super-Freighter, and those things are huge. Both UE and Apiata starting one is big, Seyek are adding in a Cargo ship and Betazed is the lone military ship starting this quarter with a new patroller to add to the 6 that have been refitted.

Betazed going for a Patroller is somewhat unexpected but logical. The events of the Arcadian conflict would've scared them.

Shipping still appears to be a major limitation factor to the member worlds. Given that we apparently draw on about as much member world shipping as we do on our own, not entirely unexpected.
